Offensive Analyst/Assistant Offensive Line Coach
Adam Klein returned to Temple in the spring of 2026 as an offensive analyst/assistant offensive line coach after one season at Oregon State where he was a graduate assistant. This marked a return for Klein who had been at Temple since 2018 first as a player and then transitioning into a staff member. He played through the 2022 season and then spent two as a graduate assistant. Klein was a standout player, team captain and single-digit honeree during his time as a player at Temple. As a freshman in 2018, he started 10 games at right tackle and earned ECAC Offensive Rookie of the Year. After five seasons as a starter (he played one COVID season) where he earned starts at all five offensive line positions and played for three head coaches, he became the school’s first five-time letterwinner. Klein graduated with a degree in sport and recreation management, and after a brief stint with the Washington Commanders, returned to Temple to continue working towards his masters. The Springfield, Pa., native worked as a graduate assistant in 2023 with the scouting and operations department and moved over to coaching in 2024 when he helped with the offensive line.

Johnson spent two seasons at MSU and produced four All-Americas, four All-Big Sky choices (including two first team selections), and a Freshman All-America in 2023, the first year under his direction. In 2024, the Bobcats’ offense led the FCS in points per game (40.8), total yards (478.4 ypg), and rushing yards (294.8 ypg), while completing a 15-1 record. Johnson brings an NFL pedigree and multi-level college coaching experience to Temple. Prior to his time at MSU, Johnson was the running back coach at Wisconsin, his alma mater. The three-year starting center for Wisconsin earned third team All-America honors as a senior in 2002, before playing for four NFL teams from 2003-09. He began his coaching career at Southern Door High in 2013, 15 years after starring there, then became offensive coordinator/offensive line coach at NCAA DIII St. Norbert in 2014 and 2015. H

Marcus Yarns earned first team all-conference in 2024 as UD’s lead running back averaging 126.8 yards from scrimmage (93.8 rushing and 33.0 receiving). In 2023, Delaware was top five in the CAA in rushing offense, which was led by Yarns who earned All-CAA honors and was an All-American selection after rushing for 939 yards and 15 touchdowns and recording 311 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns. In his first season back with his alma mater, Pierce helped lead Delaware back to the FCS Playoffs. Pierce made an immediate impact as UD’s rushing attack improved by nearly 30 yards per game from 2021 and the Blue Hens ranked fourth in the CAA with 1,864 total rushing yards in 2022. Clayton Barnes was new head coach K.C. Keeler's first hire at Temple. He came with Keeler from Sam Houston State. Barnes will serve as general manager and will be entrusted with building and maintaining the roster through all aspects of player acquisition including scouting, recruiting, and player retention. Barnes was given the title General Manager at SHSU after joining Keeler's staff as the Director of Football Operations and Player Personnel in 2020. Keeler when Keeler overhauled the staff in 2025 and named defensive analyst/assistant safeties coach. Hopkins came to Temple from Northwestern State where he was the defensive line coach. Prior to Northwestern State, he was a defensive graduate assistant at four schools (Tulane, UTEP, Louisiana-Monroe, and Lamar). Hopkins graduated from Western Governors University in 2018 with a degree in special education, as well as a degree in educational leadership from Lamar in 2020.

Offensive Analyst/Assisistant Wide Receivers Coach

Ahmad began his career in college recruiting in 2021 at Rutgers where he worked as a player development assistant. Prior to that time he spent several years as a high school assistant coach at several N.J. high schools such as Paterson Eastside, Passaic, and Northern Valley at Demarest. After Rutgers, Ahmad bounced back-and-forth from Syracuse to Penn State. He was the director of high school relations for the Orange in 2022, where he was able to get various top ranked prospects to visit campus and even helped secure Syracuse's top class in school history. He left for Penn State in January 2023 and spent a year with the Nittany Lions. He left in December for two months at Syracuse to be the executive director of player personnel and recruiting, securing another top class for the Orangemen. However, he would return to the Nittany Lions in February of 2024 and was the primary recruiter for many of Penn State's top high school and portal additions. During his time with Penn State, Ahmad became well known rather quickly for his connections throughout the country as he has deep ties to Mid-Atlantic, and was also named Rivals.com B1G Up Next which honored the Top 10 up and coming recruiters in the Big Ten Conference.

Assoc. GM for Personnel and Roster Management
Kyle Pollock was hired by Temple Football in February 2025 as the associate general manager for personnel and roster management. He came to Philadelphia after one year at Old Dominion as the director of player personnel. In his role, Pollock supports General Manager Clayton Barnes, overseeing the program's recruiting board and database, managing the team roster numbers, and assisting in the high school and college scouting process. Under Pollock's leadership, Old Dominion signed the highest ranked class in program history in 2024. He oversaw all aspects of the recruiting operation, including the recruiting board, player transition to campus, scholarship numbers, planning coaches travel, and arranging and executing all official and unofficial visits. Pollock joined Old Dominion after spending four seasons at Ohio University, including his last two as the director of recruiting. Nick Griffith was hired by Temple Football in February 2025 as the director of scouting. He came to Philadelphia after one year at Georgia as the player personnel analyst, when the Bulldogs won the SEC Championship. Before that, Roundtree spent one year at McNeese State in a similar capacity. MSU’s Jon McCall earned second team All-Southland Conference with 32 receptions for 504 yards and five touchdowns as a redshirt sophomore receiver. Prior to McNeese, Roundtree spent two seasons at Grand Valley State where his wide receiving corps combined to haul in 288 passes for 4,223 yards and 34 touchdowns. The Lakers compiled a 22-3 record in his two seasons on staff and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Division II playoffs both years. In 2022, he helped lead the Lakers to a perfect 11-0 regular season record and No. 1 national ranking as the offense averaged 461 yards per game to rank 11th nationally.
