A tremendous leader with a strong basketball mind and understanding for the game, Addie Micir was appointed the eighth head coach in Lehigh women’s basketball program history on April 27, 2022. She will enter her eighth season overall at Lehigh in 2026-27 and her fifth season as the Mountain Hawks’ head coach. In her fourth season at the helm, the 2025–26 campaign marked another strong year for coach Micir and the Mountain Hawks. Lehigh finished 17-15 overall and 11-7 in Patriot League play, earning a berth in the WNIT for the second time in program history. The Mountain Hawks earned the No. 4 seed in the Patriot League Tournament, defeated Loyola Maryland 68-54 in the first round at Stabler Arena, and knocked off top-seeded Navy 81-76 in Annapolis before falling to Holy Cross in the PL championship game. Under Micir’s leadership, senior Lily Fandre earned All-Patriot League First Team honors, junior Whitney Lind was named to the All-Patriot League Third Team, and first-year Leia Edwards was selected to the All-Rookie Team. Micir made history in the 2024–25 season, leading the Mountain Hawks to one of their most successful campaigns in program history.
