Kaitlyn Cresencia

Biography

Kait Cresencia is entering her fifth season with the Lehigh women’s basketball program in 2026-27 and her third as associate head coach, a title she earned in September 2024 following two standout seasons with the Mountain Hawks. Cresencia’s leadership helped guide Lehigh to a 17-15 overall record and an 11-7 mark in Patriot League play in 2025-26, earning a berth in the WNIT for the second time in program history. Known for her sharp basketball IQ, relentless work ethic, and commitment to developing high-character student-athletes, Cresencia continues to shape a culture of excellence at Lehigh, on and off the court. On the court, senior Lily Fandre earned All-Patriot League First Team honors, junior Whitney Lind was named to the All-Patriot League Third Team, and first-year Leia Edwards was selected to the All-Rookie Team. Off the court, Lind earned All-Patriot League Academic Team honors as well as CSC Academic All-District recognition, while junior Gracyn Lovette also collected CSC Academic All-District honors. Cresencia’s leadership helped elevate Lehigh to new heights in 2024-25, guiding the team to the Patriot League Championship and a regular season title. The Mountain Hawks racked up 27 wins—marking the third-highest total in program history—and solidified their status as a powerhouse in the league. Under her guidance, Lehigh saw three players earn All-Patriot League recognition: Maddie Albrecht (First Team), Ella Stemmer (Second Team), and Belle Bramer (All-Rookie).
