Confesor joined the Jaguars’ staff as a coaching fellow in early 2025 and stayed with the organization through its 2025 AFC South title campaign and playoff run. The stint in the NFL was Confesor’s second of his career after working with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2012. No stranger to Power 4 college football, Confesor returns to a role as a wide receivers coach at the collegiate level. He led the Wake Forest wide receivers group from 2023-24, helping guide the program's all-time leader in receiving yards, WR Taylor Morin, to Honorable Mention All-ACC honors in 2024. Prior to his time at Wake Forest, Confesor coached the Air Force wideouts from 2019-22. He helped the Falcons to a 34-11 overall record and the program won three bowl games, defeating Power-5 programs in postseason matchup. Confesor helped Brandon Lewis, who signed with the Tennessee Titans on a free agent deal prior to the 2022 season, earn Honorable Mention All-MWC honors in a standout 2021 campaign. In his first season (2019), Rolan helped design a Saluki offense that produced one of the most dominant rushing attacks in the nation. Featuring a pair of 1,000-yard rushers, SIU ranked 12th in the country in rushing yards per game (233.4) and 32nd in total offense (418.6). In 2021, SIU ranked 25th nationally in total offense (415.3) and 25th in passing offense (255.0). Rolan was the offensive coordinator at Division II Dixie State in 2018. In his only season at Dixie State, Rolan's offense averaged 458.5 total yards and 31 points per game. Prior to Dixie State, Rolan worked the 2017 season as an offensive analyst on Mark Stoops' staff at Kentucky, where he helped lead the Wildcats to a 7-6 record and a bid to the Music City Bowl. Before his stint at UK, Rolan served as wide receivers coach under Tommy Tuberville at Cincinnati from 2013-16 and helped guide the Bearcats to three bowl appearances in four seasons. Mitchell joined the Badgers' staff on Jan. 23, 2023 after 13 years as the head coach at Grand Valley State in Allendale, Mich. Mitchell's unit was a strength of the Badger defense in 2025, led by a group of experienced pass rushers. Darryl Peterson (6.5) and Mason Reiger (5.0) both finished with more than five sacks, becoming the first Badger tandem to do so since 2021. Peterson led the Badgers with 11.5 TFLs, the most for a Wisconsin OLB since Nick Herbig posted 15.5 in 2022. He was named the Big Ten defensive player of the week for his three-sack effort in a Senior Night win over Illinois. In 2024, Mitchell led a unit that included a breakout season by OLB Aaron Witt. Witt, who was hampered by injuries early in his career, posted 4.5 TFLs and 28 total tackles. OLBs John Pius (2.5) and Sebastian Cheeks (2.0) both recorded multiple sacks during the 12-game season. On special teams, Nathanial Vakos converted 12-of-19 attempts and all 31 of his extra point tries. Punter Atticus Bertrams improved his punting average to 45.3 from 41.3 as a freshman in 2023. Cibene’s first coaching position was under Badgers’ Outside Linebackers Coach Matt Mitchell at Grand Valley State. Cibene was a graduate assistant on Mitchell’s staff in 2017 and 2018. Cibene worked directly with GVSU’s linebackers and defensive backs. During his playing career, Cibene was a safety at Ohio State from 2013-16 and was part of the 2014 Big Ten and CFP championship team. He was a four-time Scholar Athlete Award winner and was named a 2016 Varsity O Letterman. Cibene graduated from Ohio State in 2017 and earned a pair of master’s degrees from Grand Valley State (2019) and Boston College (2022). Tressel fostered the success of true freshman linebackers Mason Posa and Cooper Catalano late in the 2025 season. Posa and Catalano combined for 93 tackles after their insertion into the starting lineup (Oct. 25), the most for any FBS freshman defensive tandem. Posa was named an FWAA Freshman All-American. In 2024, Tressel's Badger defense ranked 14th nationally in passing defense (177.7). That was the lowest clip for a Tressel defense since Cincinnati allowed only 169.2 yards per game in 2021, a season that saw Cincinnati post a perfect regular season record and become the first Group of 5 program to reach the CFP Semifinals. Tressel worked closely with the Badger inside linebackers in 2024, mentoring LB Christian Alliegro to 66 total tackles, the second most of any Badger. Steeples coached the LSU corners from 2022-23 and played the position at the college level (Missouri and Memphis) and in the NFL (2013-15). In his first season at Iowa State, Steeples helped the 2024 Cyclones reach heights never before touched at the school as the team finished 11-3 overall, recording the first double-digit win season in program history. ISU finished 7-2 in Big 12 Conference action and ended the season ranked No. 15 in the Associated Press Top 25, the second-highest end of season ranking in school history. Steeples worked with the Cyclone wide receivers and the group included one of the nation's best duos in Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel. The pair combined for 167 receptions, 2,377 yards and 17 touchdown receptions. Higgins and Noel were the first duo in school history and one of just two nationally in 2024 to each record 1,000 yards in the same season.
