Your kid’s film deserves better than a mass email.

CommitPath builds a separate page for every coach you write to, his program and your film, and tells you who actually opened it.

High school football athlete on game day

Why most recruiting email goes nowhere

College coaches get hundreds of these a week. The ones that get read are the ones that were obviously written for them.

One link, sent everywhere

A single profile URL blasted to two hundred coaches reads exactly like what it is. Most are deleted without opening.

No idea what happened

"Delivered" is not a signal. You cannot tell interest from silence, so you have no idea who to follow up with.

A short window

Recruiting classes fill. The film that would have landed in October is noise by February, and nobody tells you that either.

What CommitPath does instead

A page for one coach

His school, his colors, his roster needs, and the film that matters for his position group. Not a profile he has to go find.

Sent from your own inbox

The email comes from you, to him. Not from a platform address with a thousand other athletes behind it.

Proof of what he did

Opened, clicked, watched the film and for how long. You follow up with the coaches who actually looked.

Written like a kid wrote it

Because one did. The copy is guarded in code against sounding synthetic: no em dashes, no consultant vocabulary.

This is what the coach opens

Not a profile in a database he has to search. A page addressed to him, with the film that matters for his position group and the numbers that matter at his level.

One athlete, one coach, one page. That is the whole idea, and it is the part a shared-inbox platform structurally cannot copy.

A note for Coach Perzinski

Coach Perzinski, I saw JU won the ASUN faceoff title again this year — I'm a '29 FOGO out of Colorado Kings hunting schools that take the X seriously. Come watch me at Igloo Elite in Long Island Nov 8.

We run this for our own son

CommitPath Athletics was not built from a market study. It was built because a 2029 faceoff specialist needed to reach college coaches and every tool available treated him like a row in a spreadsheet.

Every feature here exists because it was needed on a real send, to a real coach, with a real deadline. That is also why it is not open yet. We would rather it work for one family first.

Three steps

  1. 1

    Build the page

Film, stats, story, once. Then a version per program you target.

  2. 2

    Send it yourself

From your own email, one coach at a time, with a link that belongs to him.

  3. 3

    Follow the signal

See who opened and who watched. Spend your time on the ones who did.

When it lands

A coach opens a page with his own program on it, watches two minutes of film, and writes back. You knew he was interested before he replied, because you saw him watch.

When it doesn’t

Two hundred identical emails go out. None are opened, none are answered, and you spend the season wondering whether the film was the problem. It usually wasn’t.

How college recruiting outreach actually works

For most sports and most divisions, recruiting begins with the athlete reaching out, not the other way round. A coach is allowed to receive email long before he is allowed to reply, so the early messages are about getting on a list rather than starting a conversation.

That means the message has to survive a glance. Coaches sort by position need, class year, and whether the athlete clearly knows anything about the program. A generic profile link answers none of those, which is why it gets deleted.

CommitPath builds one page per coach, with the school’s identity, the position group, and the film that matters, sends it from the family’s own email, and tracks what happens after. Opens, clicks, and how much film was actually watched, so the follow-up goes to the coaches who showed interest instead of everyone equally.

Athletics is running with one family while we get the send loop and the tracking right. When accounts open, the list hears first.
