Head Coach
Oregon director of athletics Rob Mullens announced the hiring of Kristian Kuld as the next head coach of the UO beach volleyball program on Friday, June, 6, 2025, bringing one of the nation's top assistant coaches to Eugene to lead the Ducks. Kuld spent the last 11 seasons as an assistant coach for the Long Beach State beach volleyball team, helping The Beach to five NCAA/AVCA Championship appearances as well as more than 225 wins and seven top-10 finishes. Kuld takes over as Oregon's head coach ahead of construction of new beach volleyball courts and locker rooms on campus as part of the Hamilton Walton Transformation Project. Oregon played its 2025 home matches at the new Grace Community Fellowship Courts and will do so again in 2026 before opening its new facility. A four-year scholarship athlete at UCLA as a player (2009-12), Kuld got his start in coaching at Long Beach State as an assistant in 2014.

Assistant Coach
Brooke Blutreich joined the Oregon beach volleyball program as an assistant coach in July 2025. Blutreich comes to Eugene after a standout playing career at LSU and Arizona. This past season, she was named to the All-Big 12 Tournament Team and racked up 12 wins for the Wildcats, playing primarily at No. 1 and 2 pairs in the lineup. Blutreich made her debut in the LSU lineup in 2023, helping the Tigers to NCAA Championship appearances in her last two seasons in Baton Rouge. The Phoenix, Ariz., native graduated from LSU with a degree in sports administration with a concentration in sports leadership. She went on to earn a graduate certificate from Arizona in inclusive leadership in sport and recreation. Blutreich brings prior coaching experience as an assistant for the Catalina Foothills High School beach volleyball team in Tucson, Ariz., and additional experience at the club level with in Eugene and Arizona.

Assistant Coach
Danny Woodley joined the Oregon beach volleyball program as an assistant coach in July 2025. Woodley comes from an extensive background at the club level, most recently working with Actyve Volleyball and Vertical Sports Performance as a coach and trainer in Santa Monica, Calif. During his time with Actyve, he was a two-time coach of the year and helped lead the club to the 2023 USAV Junior National title in the USA division. Woodley founded the Tidal Beach Volleyball Club in Los Angeles in 2021, has served as a coach at Long Beach State and UCLA summer camps and carries further experience as an assistant coach at the high school and middle school levels. The San Diego, Calif., native was a member of the UCLA men's volleyball team and was a five-time selection to the directors honor roll. Woodley graduated from UCLA in 2014 with a degree in geography.
