Head Coach
Nils Schyllander recently completed his 18th season as head coach of the University of Oregon men's tennis program. Schyllander has been at UO for a total of 25 years and is one of two coaches in ITA history to be named regional coach of the year for both a men's and women's team. He served as an assistant coach for four years and a head coach for three years with the women's program before being named head coach of the UO men prior to the 2007 season. Schyllander has posted a 243-177 record with the UO men and is one of only two coaches in program history (Buzz Summers, 1968-94) to reach triple figures in wins. For his career, he owns an all-time record as a head coach of 286-205. He earned Wilson/ITA Northwest Region Coach of the Year honors in 2014, and was the Pac-12 Coach of the Year for the 2016-17 season. Schyllander has led Oregon's charge to prominence as the Ducks have established themselves as a consistent contender on the national stage.

Arron Spencer enters his seventh season with the men's tennis team, and fourth as the program's associate head coach. He was promoted from assistant following the 2021 campaign. Spencer, who was a UO student-athlete (2002-06), returned to Eugene as the team's assistant coach in July 2018. Over the past six seasons, Spencer has helped guide the Ducks to a 84-61 overall record and an appearance in the second round of the 2021 NCAA Tournament. In 2022, the Ducks saw doubles pair Joshua Charlton and Quinn Vandecasteele earn a trip to the doubles championships, the second time in program history a doubles team has reached the individual championships. Oregon recorded a 17-7 mark in 2021 that led to a No. 31 national ranking in the year-end poll, the program's highest finish since 2017. Wyatt DeMulling joined the men's tennis staff prior to the 2025-26 season. The native of Seattle spent his playing career at Boise State and was named to the Mountain West All-Conference team as a senior and won 23 matches as a junior. DeMulling spent his freshman season at Irvine Valley and was an ITA CCCAA All-American in singles and doubles, also earning rookie of the year and co-doubles team of the year.
