The College of Wooster Women's Golf

Dave Mottice, who helped lead The College of Wooster to a fourth-place finish at the 1992 NCAA Div. III Men's Golf Championship, has served as the College's head women's golf coach since January 6, 2025. In his first semester as head coach, Mottice guided Ally Siewert to first-team All-North Coast Athletic Conference honors. Siewert graduated as the program's first four-time all-conference performer, a program-record 82.3 average, and a record five medalist honors. The PGA Quarter Century Club member was most recently the head golf professional at Silver Lake Country Club. There, Mottice led the golf operation to record revenues. Mottice elevated the club's extensive tournament profile and regularly instructed players on a wide range of skill levels for continuous improvement. The 2009 Northern Ohio PGA Private Club Merchandiser of the Year was head golf professional for 12 years at Fairlawn Country Club. At Fairlawn, Mottice managed golf operations with an annual budget in excess of $700,000 and supervised and mentored a staff of 20. Mottice's other golf experiences include serving as director of golf and instruction at 1899 Indoor Golf and an additional 12 years as a professional at country clubs throughout Ohio. Mottice became a PGA professional in 1997 while working at Toledo Country Club and was the Northern Ohio PGA's Assistant Golf Professional of the Year during his tenure at Shaker Heights Country Club.
