Head Coach
Eric Seideman, who possesses over two decades of coaching experience at the NCAA Div. III level, including 11 years as head coach at Mount Saint Mary College (New York), was selected as The College of Wooster's men's lacrosse head coach following a national search. Seideman's tenure at the College began on July 1, 2022. In his first year, Wooster set new program records for wins (13) and consecutive wins (11), with Casey Steffen breaking the NCAA Div. III single-season record for caused turnovers. The program earned NCAC Coaching Staff of the Year honors. In year two, a program-record three Fighting Scots were named to the USILA All-America team. At Mount Saint Mary, Seideman arrived in 2011 and immediately achieved success, with seven wins in his first year and 12 wins in 2018, advancing to the Skyline Conference Tournament championship game. Two Knights earned All-America honors under his guidance. Seideman emphasizes positive team culture and values like care for others, growth mindset, leadership, and service. He is the current president of USILA and chair of the Div. III All-America committee. As an assistant, he was the offensive coordinator of SUNY Cortland's 2006 national championship team and has coached 27 All-Americans in his career. Assistant Coach
Joseph Pille, most recently a graduate assistant who served as Goucher College's defensive and recruiting coordinator, joined The College of Wooster's men's lacrosse staff as a full-time assistant coach on August 1, 2022. Pille serves as the Fighting Scots' defensive coordinator, goalkeeper coach, and recruiting coordinator. Wooster enjoyed its best season in Pille's first year with the program, as the Scots set new program records for wins (13) and consecutive wins (11). Casey Steffen was named an All-American after breaking the NCAA Div. III single-season record with 5.06 caused turnovers per game. Steffen's 86 caused turnovers more than doubled the program's single-season record and are the third-most since the NCAA started officially tracking the statistic in 2013. Additionally, Wooster led the nation by holding the opposition to a 62.7 clearing percentage and had top-three national rankings in groundballs (45.00) and caused turnovers (14.88) per game. For his efforts, Pille was part of the NCAC Coaching Staff of the Year. In year two, Steffen repeated as an All-American. At Goucher, a Div. III institution in Maryland, Pille led the development of the defensive scheme, defensive playbook, and the faceoff unit plan. He planned all recruiting visits, designed and implemented analytical breakdown of game film for game-day goals, and created and implemented a year-round strength and conditioning program. Assistant Coach
Kevin O'Brien-Bruno joined The College of Wooster men's lacrosse staff as a part-time assistant in 2025, assisting with the Fighting Scots' defense.
