Head Coach
Andy Zidron, who won two North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament titles as an assistant and an NCAC regular season championship as a player at Denison University, enters his 11th season as the head coach at The College of Wooster. Zidron currently serves as the chair of the physical education minor. With Zidron at the helm, Wooster has a renewed emphasis on upping the intensity level, and the staff is very intentional in establishing relationships with the student-athletes to create a Wooster soccer family, with the focus on serving one another and working hard for the team. The Scots' win total increased each year from 2016-18, with the program having its highest winning percentage since 2006 in 2018 (8-6-3). Individually, three alumni earned NCAA Postgraduate Scholarships during Zidron's tenure - Andreas Xenofontos (2020), Wilson Freije (2021), and Max Wiley (2025). Prior to Wooster, Zidron spent 14 years associated with Denison University's consistently successful program, helping the Big Red to eight top-three finishes in the conference standings and a 154-96-24 overall record (.606) during that time. With him as an assistant coach, Denison won the NCAC Tournament in both 2006 and 2009, and recorded eight winning seasons, including an 11-4-3 record in 2013. As a player, the Cincinnati, Ohio native was a standout defender for the Big Red. Jack Giloth became The College of Wooster men's soccer team's full-time assistant coach in February 2024. The Wooster alumnus spent the 2023 season as a temporary assistant coach. Giloth's coaching career started as a site coach for DC United and Headfirst Soccer Camp in Washington, D.C. As a Fighting Scot, Giloth made an immediate impact as a first-year scoring three times over eight appearances. Giloth played in 52 career games, 15 of which were starts. The midfielder was part of 15 clean sheets. The economics alumnus worked as a student athletic trainer while attending the College.
