Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach (Row, Fen, Golf, WTen, Spirit Squads)
Allison Lowrance joined the Temple Owls Athletics staff in September 2022 as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for Olympic Sports. She oversees all training aspects for Women's Fencing, Women's Tennis, Men's Golf, Spirit Squads, and Women's Rowing. Lowrance came to Temple after being at Southern Utah University from 2017-2022, designing and implementing programs for Women's Soccer, Women's Volleyball, Men's and Women's Golf, Men's and Women's Tennis and Men's and Women's Cross country. She also assisted with Football, Women's Basketball, Gymnastics and Throwers during her time at Southern Utah. Prior to her time at Southern Utah, she worked with U.S. Ski & Snowboard in Park City, UT, leading up to the 2018 PeyongChang Winter Olympics. During her time in Park City, she worked with all of the disciplines of skiing and snowboarding that U.S. Ski & Snowboard supports. Before Park City, she interned at the National Strength and Conditioning Association in Colorado Springs, working with Colorado Springs Tigers minor league hockey team, various employees of USA Hockey, and Members of Colorado Springs SWAT Team, Police Department and the FBI. Lowrance attended West Virginia University where she received her Masters Degree in Athletic Coaching Education with an emphasis in Performance Coaching and her Bachelors degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology. Lowrance holds certifications with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS) and USA Weightlifting (USAW L1)

Assistant Coach
Bryanna Eichler is in her second season as Assistant Coach for the Owls. In her first season with the Owls, Eichler led the Temple Women's Rowing Third Varsity 8 boat to a first-place finish at the 2023 Jefferson Dad Vail Regatta on the Cooper River on Saturday, May 13. Eichler is a 2019 graduate of Rutgers University, where she was a four-year member of the women’s rowing team. During her junior season, Eichler was a member of the crew that earned the first ever Big Ten Boat of the Week for Rutgers. In her final season, Rutgers advanced to the NCAA Championship for the first time in 18 years with an 11th place team finish. Prior to Temple University, Eichler was an assistant coach on the high school level at the Winsor School (Boston, MA), Harveys Lake Rowing Club (Dallas, PA), and Saint Joseph High School (Metuchen, NJ). Academically, she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Sport Business at Temple University. Eichler is an alum of Hanover Area Jr./Sr. High School where she was a member of the swimming, field hockey, track and field, and cheerleading teams.

Assistant Athletic Trainer (GYM, WROW)
Ryan Larkin joined the Temple Athletics staff as an assistant athletic trainer in January 2022. In August of 2024 she earned her Doctor of Athletic Training from Temple University, and February of 2025 Larkin was promoted to the associate athletic trainer. She works primarily with the women’s gymnastics and women’s rowing. Larkin came to Temple from Tulane University, where she spent three years as an assistant athletic trainer working with the football program. She earned her master's degree in homeland security and emergency management from Tulane University in 2019. While completing requirements for her master's Larkin worked for Tulane University football and women’s tennis programs. Prior to enrolling at Tulane University, Larkin served as an athletic training intern at University of Denver where she worked directly with the women’s soccer program and assisted with various sports coverages; women’s gymnastics, men’s ice hockey and both men’s and women’s tennis. Larkin has been a board-certified athletic trainer since 2016 and has held a Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine license since 2022. She is a member of both the National Athletic Trainers Association and the Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers Society.

Senior Associate AD/Mental Health
Dr. Stephany Coakley was named Senior Associate Athletic Director for Mental Health, Wellness and Performance in December, 2017. A certified mental performance consultant and licensed professional counselor with a doctorate in exercise and sport science with a concentration in sports psychology, Dr. Coakley became the first full-time mental health specialist with the Temple University Department of Athletics. Coakley, who earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees from Temple, returned to her alma mater with an impressive resume. Since 2003, the Nassau, Bahamas native has worked as a certified mental performance consultant with Maximum Mental Training Associates in Washington, D.C. There, Coakley coordinated mental health and wellness services for college student-athletes, as well as Olympians and professionals. Her duties included designing and coordinating mental health strength and conditioning programs for multiple and diverse sports; assessing psychological issues impacting athletes in the program; and performing robust evaluations to measure effectiveness and efficiency in order to improve and strengthen existing programs and establish new ones. In 2007, Coakley, who earned her doctorate at the University of North Carolina Greensboro, began working at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington. Clinical Nutritionist
Jacqueline Cotumaccio is a highly skilled Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with a strong foundation in applied performance nutrition, clinical counseling, and athlete-centered care. She currently serves as the first Sports Dietitian for Temple University Athletics, where she leads all aspects of the university's performance nutrition programming for all NCAA Division 1 teams. Jacqueline provides strategic oversight, individualized counseling, and interdisciplinary collaboration to optimize athletic performance, recovery, and long-term health. In this role, Cotumaccio addresses a wide spectrum of nutrition-related concerns through individual counseling and team talks, develops sport-and-gender-specific guidelines, hydration strategies, travel nutrition plans, and works directly with coaches, athletic trainers, medical providers, and campus dietitians. Her leadership includes managing fueling station operations, supervising interns, developing educational materials, and representing the department on initiatives such as the Food Insecurity Task Force and the Eating and Body Image Council. Cotumaccio's previous experience includes working as a Registered Dietitian at MS Nutritional Wellness in New York, where she conducted in-depth nutrition assessments and provided medical nutrition therapy to a wie age range of clients. Associate Head Coach
Kelsey Franks is in her first season as Associate Head Coach for the Owls. Franks is a 2016 graduate of Temple University, where she was a four-year member of the women’s rowing program and four-year Varsity 8+ coxswain. Franks’ first year as a Temple coxswain was under Grzybowski’s first year at the helm of the program. The pair spent four years as a collaborative coach-and-coxswain duo leading the team to historic finishes. In her senior year, Franks was an integral part of Temple’s finish at the 2016 American Athletic Conference, placing third – the highest in program history. At the event, Franks grabbed a bronze medal in the Varsity 8+ and was named All-Conference Second Team. That same season, Franks helped her crew earn two American Athletic Conference Boat of the Week awards. Most recently, Franks led the La Salle Women’s Rowing team as Head Coach, beginning her tenure by spending all of four weeks in an assistant position before being thrown into the lead women’s coach position in fall 2021. During her first year at the helm, Franks led the women’s rowing team to the best Atlantic-10 Conference team finish since 2003, and the best Varsity 8+ performance in over a decade. At the following 2023 Atlantic 10 Conference Championship, La Salle had all four boats — Varsity 8+, 2nd Varsity 8+, Varsity 4+, and 2nd Varsity 4+ — place in the Grand Finals at the A-10 Championship in the same year for the first time in program history. While at Johns Hopkins, he was a four-year letter winner for the football team, helping the Blue Jays to four-straight Centennial Conference championships.
