Dawn Shockley has led the Oregon State women’s golf team to the most success in program history during her first nine years as the head coach with six team titles, eight trips to postseason competition, and several team and individual records during that time. The Beavers competed in a new conference – the WCC – during the 2024-25 season, but the program reached new heights and kept its postseason streak alive. Other accomplishments and accolades include: Ranked No. 49 in the final Scoreboard national poll. Advanced to the NCAA Regionals for the eighth-straight time. Dawn Shockley was named the West Coast Conference Coach of the Year. Kyra Ly was named an Honorable Mention All-American by the by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA); she is just the second Oregon State women’s golfer to earn All-America recognition, joining Kathleen Takaishi who received the honor in 1998. Kyra Ly was named the West Coast Conference Player of the Year. Won two team titles – the WCC Championship and the Causeway Invitational – the 15th and 16th in program history. Shot an 11-under 853 at the Causeway Invitational, equaling the fifth-lowest three-round score in program history. Shot a 10-under 278 at the Causeway Invitational, equaling the second-lowest single-round score in program history.
