Biography

Jessica Shepley was hired as an assistant coach at Oregon State on July 30, 2024, and had an immediate impact in her first season with the Beavers. She helped continue the success of a women’s golf program that made another trip to NCAA postseason competition. Other first-year highlights include: Ranked No. 50 in the final Scoreboard national poll. Advanced to the NCAA Regionals for the eighth-straight time. Dawn Shockley was named the West Coast Conference Coach of the Year. Kyra Ly was named an Honorable Mention All-American by the by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA); she is just the second Oregon State women’s golfer to earn All-America recognition, joining Kathleen Takaishi who received the honor in 1998. Kyra Ly was named the West Coast Conference Player of the Year. Won two team titles – the WCC Championship and the Causeway Invitational – the 15th and 16th in program history. Shot an 11-under 853 at the Causeway Invitational, equaling the fifth-lowest three-round score in program history. Shot a 10-under 278 at the Causeway Invitational, equaling the second-lowest single-round score in program history. Kyra Ly won the individual title at the Causeway Invitational and Raya Nakao won the individual title at the WCC Championship. Kyra Ly had a scoring average of 71.88, the best in Oregon State single-season history and the best ever by a Beaver junior.
