Esposito joined Liberty on July 15, 2025 following five years of college coaching experience at Furman (2023-25), Georgia (2022-23), Mississippi State (2021-22) and Indiana Wesleyan (2020-21). Esposito previously served as the assistant coach at Furman for two seasons, where he helped lead the Paladins to two consecutive SoCon Tournament final appearances, capturing the 2025 SoCon Championship title and earning an automatic bid to the 2025 NCAA Women’s Tennis Championship. In 2025, Esposito was named the ITA Carolina Region Division I Women’s Tennis Assistant Coach of the Year for his contributions to the program. Furman finished the season with a 21-4 overall record, a perfect conference mark and ranked No. 46 in the nation, having placed as high as No. 36 in the ITA rankings. Esposito had a one-year stint as a volunteer assistant coach for the Georgia women’s tennis team before joining Furman. During his time with the Bulldogs, the team reached the Final Four of the NCAA Championship, finished as runner-up in the ITA National Indoor Championship, won its ninth SEC tournament title in program history, and finished the season ranked as the No. 2 team in the nation. A native of Union City, Ohio, Esposito was ranked ninth nationally in doubles and received a NAIA All-American honorable distinction in 2019 as a collegiate player at Indiana Wesleyan. Mitchell Brown assumed his role as Director of Operations in June 2024. In his current role, Brown assists his coaches and teams (women's tennis and women's lacrosse) with day-to-day team and business operations. His areas of responsibility include team travel, recruiting, equipment, budget, procurement and reconciliation. He also assists in facility and match day operations with the women's tennis program. Prior to his current role, Brown was an Events and Facilities Assistant at Liberty for two years, managing game day operations at the Campus East Field House, which houses the Liberty field hockey and women's lacrosse teams. Prior to that, Brown was a Student Manager for the Liberty lacrosse team. He earned a bachelor's degree in sport management: sport venue operations in May 2022. He also received a minor degree in homeland security. Brown went on to earn pursuing a master's degree in sport management: sport administration at Liberty in May 2024. Brown currently resides in Lynchburg.
