A long-time member of Liberty’s athletics department made the transition to the coaching ranks when Clint Lowe was named Liberty’s assistant men’s golf coach in August 2022. During his time with the Flames, Lowe has helped Liberty to back-to-back NCAA Regional appearances at the 2023 NCAA Bath Regional (Bath, Mich.) and the 2024 NCAA Stanford Regional (Stanford, Calif.). He also helped Liberty claim consecutive conference titles. Liberty set an ASUN Conference Championship record with a 53-under par 811 (275-261-275) in 2023, while the Flames rallied to win the 2024 Conference USA Men’s Golf Championship with a playoff win in the match play championship round. During this first two seasons as a member of the coaching staff, Lowe has instructed a pair of PING All-Region honorees, four GCAA All-America Scholar student-athletes, six all-conference players, a championship medalist and a conference Player of the Year. Lowe began his association with the men’s golf program when he started working as a practicum student for the Flames during the fall of 2012. Following his practicum, Lowe remained with the program as a student manager for the next two and half years through the 2014-15 season. As a student manager, Lowe gained valuable experience in helping set up for daily practice sessions, working on the golf driving range and assisting with setup for team travel. Hope Krekoska began in her role as Director of Operations in May 2024. In her current role, Krekoska assists the Liberty volleyball and golf teams with day-to-day team and business operations, team travel, recruiting, equipment, budget, procurement and reconciliation. Prior to her current position, she served as an Operations Intern for the Liberty men's and women's tennis program for the 2023-24 school year. In that role, she assisted with booking team travel and recruiting arrangements as well as reconciliation, equipment and budgeting. Krekoska also helped with regular season match day operations in spring 2024 and assisted with the ITA Men's and Women's Atlantic Regional Tournaments in fall 2023. She also was an Academic Tutor for Academic Affairs for Athletics from March 2022-May 2024, tutoring student-athletes in various subjects. Krekoska graduated from Liberty with a bachelor's degree in sport management in May 2024, earning summa cum laude honors. She also earned the Major of the Year award.
