Davis’ 11th season with the Trojans saw outstanding individual performances across the board with 11 All-Sun Belt honorees, including a pair on the first team in Kady Schwietz (indoor – pentathlon) and Tydreke Thomas (outdoor – 100m). He also sent three athletes, Thomas, Shanyah Washington and Altwayne Bedward, to the NCAA East Region First Round, where they competed in Jacksonville, Fla. Through the indoor and outdoor season, Davis coached 38 gold medal finishes on the individual side with nine on the relay side for 47 total. Despite the youth, he led the Trojans to a top-five finish in the season-opener at the JSU Foothills Invitational. The men finished fifth out of 19 teams, with Keith Warner claiming a seventh-place finish for the 5k, while the women finished fourth (5k) as three runners finished in the top-15 via Alexiana Hinote (10th), Lucy Turley (14th) and Arianna Elder (15th). He also coached a sweep in the Sun Belt Runners of the Week as Keith Warner and Alexiana Hinote received the award with a 24th and 28th-place finish at the FSU XC Invitational. During his career with the Lakers, Rhodes was a 15-time USTFCCCA All-American. He contributed to 10 GLIAC conference team titles, won five individual GLIAC championships, and was part of two NCAA Division II team national championship squads (2021 outdoor and 2022 indoor). He holds four school records: indoor 400m (47.42), outdoor 400m (45.99), 4x100m relay (39.56), and 4x400m relay (3:06.63), as well as the GLIAC conference record in the 200m (20.61). He graduated from Grand Valley in 2025 with a bachelor’s degree in health and physical education and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in sports psychology at Troy.

Her sister broke the Troy program record as an All-Sun Belt First Team member with 3,809 points, breaking her record set in 2017. She also led a bright young freshman in Aaliyah Murphy to the program record in the 400m hurdles with a 59.94 at the Doc Anderson Invitational with three first-place finishes in 2025. This past season, Schwietz helped propel Jaggerd Moore to the fifth highest high jump in Troy history at 2.10m which sent him to the NCAA East Preliminary after claiming five gold medals in 2023. She also coached her sister Kady to a first-place finish at the Samford Challenge with 4,428 points.
