She enters her fourth year at the helm in 2026. Ramatowski has transformed the program into a consistently winning squad that exudes joy and passion for the game using three core pillars: commitment, love and excellence. She has compiled a 61-33 overall record with 18 or more wins in each of her first three seasons to kick off her head coaching career. While at TU, Ramatowski’s players have earned three AVCA All-Region honors, one AVCA All-America award, one Academic All-America distinction, one American Conference Setter of the Year, one American Libero of the Year, one American Freshman of the Year, five First Team All-Conference awards, two All-Freshman honors and 11 CSC Academic All-District awards. Jacey Smith joined the Golden Hurricane volleyball coaching staff as an assistant coach in January 2023. Smith has helped coach Tulsa to 61 wins and two postseason appearances in her three seasons at TU. She also serves as the recruiting coordinator for the team and has helped coach three AVCA All-Region players, one AVCA All-American, one Academic All-American, one American Conference Setter of the Year, one American Libero of the Year, one American Freshman of the Year, five First Team All-Conference student-athletes, two All-Freshmen and 11 CSC Academic All-District award winners. Two players (Kayley Cassaday and Marta Pecalli) have gone pro since Smith’s arrival. Smith joins Tulsa after a one-year stint as a volunteer assistant coach at Kansas State, where she helped the Wildcats finish the 2022 season atop the Big 12 in service aces (183). K-State also finished in the top half of the league in digs (1,571), digs per set (14.28), service aces per set (1.66), blocks (285), blocks per set (2.59), points (1,831) and points per set (16.65). She served alongside current TU Head Coach Lauren Ramatowski, who was an assistant coach at the time for the Wildcats. Before coaching at K-State, Smith served as assistant coach at McMurry University for one year. There, she led recruiting efforts in signing four players during the spring in addition to leading and organizing practices, facilities and academics.
