He is only the fourth coach in the 44-year history of the program and is the school’s all-time winningest soccer coach. McIntosh accepted the interim position in July of 1995 and was named head coach at his alma mater a year later. McIntosh is truly the epitome of Tulsa men’s soccer. Since he first walked on campus as a student-athlete in 1986, McIntosh has been a part of 363 of TU’s 450 victories either as a player (29; 1986-88), assistant coach (41; 1989-91) or head coach (293; 1995-Present). Since his first season as head coach, McIntosh has built Tulsa into a conference powerhouse, through four seasons in the Western Athletic Conference (1996-1999), six seasons in the Missouri Valley Conference (1995, 2000-04), nine seasons in Conference USA (2005-13) and now 11 seasons in the

Assistant Coach
Henry Sach enters his second year as an assistant coach and third overall season on the Golden Hurricane men's soccer staff in 2025. Following his promotion to assistant coach ahead of the 2024 season, Sach helped coach Wes Bottenburg (First Team), Alvaro Torrijos (Second Team) and Alex Cunningham (All-Freshman) to all-conference honors. 2023 was his first year on staff, when Sach served as the Director of Sports Science Intern. Sach was a three-year letterwinner on the Tulsa men’s soccer team (2020-22). He started in all 47 games played, had three goals and four assists for 10 points, and was instrumental in 22 shutouts. Sach was was tabbed to the United Soccer Coaches all-East Region second team, was a three-time all-American Athletic Conference selection and was named The American Midfielder of the Year in 2021. Off the field, Sach was selected as a second team 2023 United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-American, as well as was named to the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-Region team as a junior and super senior. He was a two-time American Athletic Conference all-academic team honoree and was tabbed to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District first team once. A native of Benitachell, Spain, Sach earned his bachelor’s degree in business management in December 2022 from The University of Tulsa.

Graduate Assistant
Joao Neves joined the Tulsa men’s soccer staff in January 2026 as a graduate assistant coach. Neves spent the 2025 season competing for Tulsa, appearing in 11 matches with eight starts for the Golden Hurricane before transitioning into his role on staff. Prior to Tulsa, he played two seasons at NAIA program Oklahoma Wesleyan after beginning his collegiate career with two years at Pratt Community College. Across his career before arriving at Tulsa, Neves totaled 28 goals and 24 assists in 73 matches played, including 65 starts. While at Oklahoma Wesleyan, he helped lead the Eagles to multiple KCAC conference championships, an NAIA Elite Eight appearance, and a Final Four run following a 17-2-5 campaign. Neves, a native of São Paulo, Brazil, graduated from Oklahoma Wesleyan University in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in business communication.
