These all define John Fields, who begins his 29th season at the helm of The University of Texas men’s golf program in 2025-26. Under Fields’ leadership, UT has posted 11 top-five finishes and 17 top-15 showings at the NCAA Championship, including NCAA team titles in 2012 and 2022 and runner-up showings in 2016 and 2019.
