First Season at Texas | 21st Season as Collegiate Head Coach A proven and consistent winner with 20 years of experience as a head coach at Xavier University and the University of Arizona, Sean Miller was named the 27th head coach in Men’s Basketball program history at The University of Texas on March 24, 2025. Miller, 56, has posted a 487-196 (.713) on-court record in 20 seasons as a collegiate head coach and claimed eight regular-season conference titles and four conference tournament championships. He has guided teams to 13 NCAA Tournament appearances, including four trips to the Elite Eight and eight to the Sweet 16. Miller has compiled a 22-13 (.629) on-court record in NCAA Tournament contests, including a 13-7 mark at Arizona and 9-6 at Xavier. Miller spent the last three seasons (2022-25) in his second stint as the head coach at Xavier University. He previously served as head coach at Xavier for five years (2004-09). During his eight total seasons with the Musketeers, Miller compiled an overall record of 185-87 (.680). He led Xavier to six NCAA Tournament appearances, including three trips to the Sweet 16 (2008, 2009 and 2023) and one to the Elite Eight (2008). Miller served for 12 seasons (2009-21) as head coach at Arizona and registered an overall on-court mark of 302-109 (.735). Associate Director, Equipment Operations

Chris Quinn is in his first year as Associate Director, Equipment Operations, his third year with the men's basketball program and his 10th season in association with The University of Texas. He is responsible for all aspects of designing, ordering, maintaining, storing and distributing equipment for the Men's Basketball program, as well as supervising a staff of student managers. Quinn previously spent two years (2021-23) working with the Texas Baseball team and five seasons (2016-21) with the Texas Track and Field/Cross Country program. Quinn served for four years (2012-16) as an Olympic Sports equipment manager at the University of Wisconsin. During his time with the Badgers, he worked with 14 different sports, including Softball, Track and Field, Volleyball and Wrestling. A native of Nevada, Texas, Quinn earned his bachelor's degree in Sport Management from The University of Texas in 2010 and his master's degree in General Kinesiology from UT in 2012. During his undergraduate career, he served for two years (2005-07) as a volunteer student assistant with the Men's Basketball team. Quinn transitioned into the role of student manager for the following five seasons (2007-12). Quinn and his wife, Stephanie, reside in Austin with their daughter, Ophelia.

Giles Gilliam is in his third year as Graduate Assistant with the men's basketball program at The University of Texas. During his first two years in Austin, the Longhorns have registered a 40-29 overall record and made a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances. Texas posted a 19-16 record and advanced to the NCAA Tournament First Four in the 2024-25 season. The Longhorns recorded seven Quad 1 wins and five victories against AP-ranked opponents. The Longhorns tallied a 21-13 record and advanced to the NCAA Tournament Round of 32 in 2023-24. Prior to coming to Austin, Gilliam served as a graduate assistant for two years (2021-23) at UTEP for head coach Joe Golding. During the 2021-22 season, the Miners posted a 20-14 overall record (12-6 Conference USA) to register their first 20-win season since earning a 22-11 mark in 2014-15. Gilliam also worked as a volunteer assistant for one season (2020-21) at Mary Hardin-Baylor for head coach Clif Carroll. The Crusaders tallied a 16-4 overall record (13-0 American Southwest Conference) and won the ASC West Division title. Gilliam concluded his collegiate playing career under Carroll at Sul Ross State (Alpine, Texas) during the 2019-20 season. He saw action in 23 games (five starts) and played 237 total minutes while helping Sul Ross post a 17-10 overall record (13-3 ASC). She served as an administrative associate during her first eight years at Texas (2006-14) before returning to the basketball staff in July 2023. Stanley worked for two years (2021-23) as Director of Operations – Survivor Services for the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), providing operational support and strategic guidance for a division connecting approximately 7,500 newly-bereaved military survivors annually. She served two years (2018-20) as Strategic Partnerships – Grant Manager for Mission Capital, developing processes for grant management to maintain a $2 million foundation budget. Stanley also spent three years at TAPS in roles including Survivor Programs Deputy Director, directing military survivor programs that brought together more than 3,500 survivors annually across 42 events. A native of Rosenberg, Texas, Stanley earned her bachelor's degree in Marketing from McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas in 2006, and worked as a student assistant in the Men's Basketball office during her undergraduate years (2004-06).
