Head Coach
Erin Batth embarks on her third season as head coach of the Providence College women’s basketball team during the 2025-26 campaign. She was named the 11th head coach in program history on March 20, 2023. Batth also is the first Black female head coach in program history and one of 11 Black female head coaches in BIG EAST Conference women’s basketball all-time. During the 2024-25 campaign, the Friars claimed the No. 7 seed in the BIG EAST Tournament, improving two seed positions from the previous year (No. 9). It marked Providence’s highest finish in the league standings since the 2020-21 season. Batth continued to mentor and develop Grace Efosa and Olivia Olsen during their final season collegiate eligibility. Both players reached the 1,000-point milestone and earned All-BIG EAST recognition. Efosa claimed All-BIG EAST Second Team honors, while Olsen earned Honorable Mention status. It marked the first time since 1997 that multiple Friars earned All-BIG EAST honors. Olsen, who was a member of the All-BIG EAST Second-Team in 2024, became the first Friar since Nadine Malcolm ‘97 to earn All-BIG EAST honors in back-to-back seasons. Malcolm achieved the feat in 1996 and 1997. Olsen finished her career at Providence as one of three players in program history to record more than 1,250 points and 850 rebounds. Assistant Director of Student-Athlete Services
Amanda Reall enters her fourth year in 2025-26 working in the Providence College Student-Athlete Academic Support Office. She spent the first three years as the academic coordinator for the men’s basketball team. In July of 2025, she was promoted to Assistant Director of Student-Athlete Services. Reall returned to Providence College with extensive experience in the field of academic support. Most recently, she was the Learning Specialist/Academic Coordinator at Boston College before she was promoted to Assistant Director in 2021. She spent time overseeing the academic support program for the men’s basketball and football teams. She would work with student-athletes, monitoring their academic performance and eligibility requirements. Reall also served as the lead for the Learning Support Services Unit for both football and men’s basketball. During this time Reall was responsible for academic plans to monitor progress towards degrees, as well as assisting with scheduling and registration process for the student-athletes. Prior to Boston College Reall worked at University of Maryland as the Learning Specialist/Academic Coordinator for football. Here she advised, tracked and collaborated with student-athletes on course selection, major exploration and declaration, degree plans, transfer credits, internships, and career preparation. Assistant Coach
Elissa Cunane is in the midst of her first season as an assistant coach at Providence College. She was hired by Head Coach Erin Batth in June 2025. Cunane enters the coaching profession after an exceptional playing career at NC State (2018-22) and in the professional ranks. She was a three-time Associated Press and United States Basketball Writers Association All-American with the Wolfpack and a two-time Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament Most Valuable Player. Additionally, she was a three-time Lisa Leslie Award Top-Five finalist in 2020, 2021 and 2022. As a senior, she was named WBCA All-American, which recognizes the nation’s top 10 players regardless of position. In four seasons at NC State, the 6-5 center compiled 1,855 points, 986 rebounds, 158 assists and 114 blocked shots. She finished the 2021-22 season as the only center in the nation to shot better than 50-percent from the field overall (.531), 40-percent from three-point territory (.419) and 80-percent from the free throw line (.835). Batth was and assistant coach at NC State from 2018-22 and was Cunane’s position coach during each of her four seasons with the Wolfpack. Administrative Assistant / Women's Basketball
Lisa Vieira has served as the Administrative Assistant to Women's Basketball since August of 2011. Vieira has numerous duties within the program, including serving as the program liaison to many other offices at Providence College. Vieira started at Providence College Athletics in 2007 as Senior Office Assistant before being promoted to her current position. Prior to Providence College, she spent 20 years as a paralegal and office manager at a law firm in East Greenwich, R.I. Vieira was appointed by Fr. Sicard to serve on the Tuition Exchange Committee and is a member of the Ambassador for PC Wellness Committee, sponsored by Human Resources. She has served on many other campus committees, including the Torchbearer Award Committee and Faculty/Staff Giving Committee. In 1988 Vieira graduated as Valedictorian from the School of Medical and Legal Sciences, formerly located on the East Side of Providence, R.I. where she obtained a paralegal certification. Director of High Performance / High Performance Coach - Women's Basketball
Mark Ellis was named Director of High Performance / High Performance Coach – Women's Basketball at Providence College on June 25, 2025. In this role, he will oversee five full-time high performance coaches and one graduate assistant. He also will serve as the primary high performance coach for women's basketball. Ellis arrived at Providence after spending last two years at Northwestern University as Director of Olympic Sports Performance (2023-25). In his role at Northwestern, he oversaw a staff of five assistant director of sports performance coaches, while fostering a collaborative environment to maximize athlete performance. He also worked closely with a high-performance team made up of professionals in the field of nutrition, sports medicine and sports psychology. During his tenure with the Wildcats, he worked directly with the field hockey and swimming & diving programs. Each of his teams and several individual athletes qualified for the NCAA Championships. The field hockey program claimed the National Title in 2024. Prior to his stint at Northwestern, Ellis served as Assistant Sports Performance Coach at Princeton University (2021-23). At Princeton, Ellis worked directly with the men's lacrosse, men's swimming & diving, men's soccer and women's tennis teams. Assistant Coach
Molly Reagan embarks on her second season at Providence College as a member of Erin Batth's staff. She served as the program's Associate Director of Player Development during the 2023-24 season and was promoted to Assistant Coach in July 2024. Reagan spent the last two seasons as an assistant coach at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pa. She helped guide the Tartans to the 2022 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Tournament title. Carnegie Mellon knocked off top-seeded Kean University in the semifinals (77-44) and went on to defeat Penn State-Behrend in the championship game (80-60). It marked CMU’s first postseason appearance since 2017. Before joining the collegiate coaching ranks, Reagan spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Braintree High School in Braintree, Mass. She also coached for three seasons at the elite club level with New England Exposure Basketball, LLC. Reagan played NCAA Division I basketball at Liberty, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. She earned a master’s in business administration (MBA) from Liberty in 2018. The Flames advanced to postseason play during two of her three seasons with the program. Assistant Coach
Sharon Baldwin enters her first season as an assistant coach on Erin Batth's staff at Providence College. Baldwin has an extensive coaching resume, including 20 years of head coaching experience. Baldwin’s NCAA Division I head coaching experience began at Mercer in 2001-02, leading the Bears to a 10-game improvement in the win column, marking one of the biggest turnarounds in Division I basketball that season. She spent the next eight seasons as head coach at East Carolina University (2002-10) and helped guide the Pirates to the NCAA Tournament for just the second time in school history in 2007 after winning the Conference USA Tournament title. Baldwin led East Carolina to a 23-win season in 2009-10, which is tied for the highest single-season win total in program history. Baldwin took over the head coaching duties at Georgia State in 2010-11 and remained on the sidelines with the Panthers for eight seasons (2010-18). During Baldwin’s tenure at Georgia State, Batth served three seasons as her assistant coach from 2014-17. Prior to joining the Division I ranks, Baldwin spent three seasons as the head coach at Life University, marking the first three seasons of the program’s existence. In the team’s inaugural season, Baldwin led Life to a 22-11 mark and the Lady Eagles advanced to the NAIA Sweet Sixteen. Assistant Coach / Recruiting Coordinator
Valerie Nainima will embark on her third season at Providence College as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for Erin Batth's program. Prior to her arrival at Providence, Nainima spent the previous two seasons as an assistant at Michigan and shared the sidelines with Batth in Ann Arbor during the 2022-23 campaign. During her two seasons with the Wolverines, Nainima was responsible for coaching the point guards. Michigan qualified for the NCAA Tournament during each of her two seasons, advancing to the Elite Eight in 2021-22 and finishing with a 25-7 overall record. In 2022-23, she and Batth helped guide the Maize and Blue to a 23-10 overall record (11-7 Big Ten) and was ranked in the national polls for 19-consecutive weeks. Michigan was ranked as high as No. 12 during the 2022-23 campaign and checked in at No. 18 in the final poll heading into the NCAA Tournament. Michigan advanced to the Second Round, before falling to ninth-ranked and No. 3 seed LSU, 66-42, on March 19. Nainima worked closely with AP All-America Honorable Mention selection and All-Big Ten honoree Leigha Brown. Brown averaged 17.5 points, 5.1 rebounds, 5.8 assists per game.
