Becca Holtgeerts

Biography

Becca Holtgeerts joined the Oregon State volleyball program in July 2023, completing the first staff of the Lindsey Behonick era. 2024 marked Holtgeerts' second year in Corvallis and saw numerous firsts following the second year under the direction of the staff. For the first time since the 1990 season, the duo of Annika Hester and Lauren Rumel became the first Beavers to be named first team all-conference. Other notables were Elly Schraeder becoming the first Beaver in the Behonick era to sign a professional contract and a pair of freshmen - Emma Lilo and Yasemin Narlioglu - making the freshmen program top 10s for assists and digs, respectively. Some of the highlights of the seasons included: First home sweep of the Arizona schools since 2017 (2023) First road sweep of the Washington schools since 2017 (2023) First top 25 road win since 2017 (2023) First time beating two ranked opponents in a season since 2011 (2023) First win over a ranked Washington State since 2016 (2023) The third win over Washington in Seattle since 2001 (2024) First home win over Washington State since 2017 (2024) First pair to be named to an all-conference first team since 1990 (2024) Joining the Beavers from Western Oregon, Holtgeerts served as an assistant coach where she was tasked with planning practices, analyzing film, assisting with recruiting and coordinating team travel.
