DelPiombo was promoted to the title of Associate Head Volleyball Coach ahead of the 2019 season before taking over the head coaching role on Dec. 23, 2024. Entering her second season at the helm of the Falcons in 2026, DelPiombo is the fifth head coach in BGSU Volleyball's varsity history, dating back to 1976. She took over the head coaching role with 13 years of coaching experience, including nine seasons with BGSU, during which the program posted a 186-91 overall record and a 125-32 mark in MAC play. As an assistant, DelPiombo was a member of a BGSU staff that coached the Orange and Brown to back-to-back MAC Regular Season titles in 2017 and 2018, a MAC Regular Season title in 2024 as well as a MAC Regular Season and MAC Tournament titles in 2020-21 and 2022, including trips to the NCAA Tournament in both seasons. The staff also coached BGSU to five consecutive MAC Tournament Championship appearances (2019-2023), the longest MAC streak since 2010. During her first season at the helm of
