Head Coach
Teri Moren, the all-time winningest head coach in Indiana women’s basketball history, is in her 13th season as head coach of the Hoosiers in 2026-27. In her 12 seasons at the helm, Indiana has appeared in seven NCAA Tournaments with three Sweet Sixteens and an Elite Eight appearance while winning the 2023 Big Ten regular season title along with 10-straight 20-win seasons. Moren is two-time Big Ten Coach of the Year (2016, 2023) and 2023 Associated Press National Coach of the Year honoree She owns a record 264-126 of in 12 years leading the Hoosiers and in 23 seasons as a head coach, she holds a 463-256 record entering the 2025-26 season. Her tenure has seen 37 All-Big Ten selections from 15 different players and the program’s first first-team All-American in Mackenzie Holmes. A total of three players have scooped up 16 All-America honors from the Associated Press and WBCA. Indiana had three players selected in the three-straight WNBA Drafts (2022-24), highlighted by seventh overall pick Grace Berger in 2023. Ali Patberg (2022) and Mackenzie Holmes (2024) have also been selected in the draft in Moren’s tenure. Placing a priority on academics through her mantra “Graduate. Win. Serve” Moren’s Hoosiers have earned 70 Academic All-Big Ten selections, with all nine eligible players placing on the list for 2023-24 and 2024-25. Aubrey Joens is in her second season with Indiana women's basketball as a graduate manager in 2026-27. Joens recently finished up her five-year collegiate career with her final three seasons played at Oklahoma (2022-25) while getting her start at Iowa State (2020-22). She was part of five NCAA Tournament appearances while appearing in 150 career games. The Iowa City, Iowa native averaged 5.6 points per game while shooting 40 percent from the field and 37.6 percent from the 3-point line. Joens was an All-Big 12 Academic honoree who earned her degree in elementary education. She comes from a decorated basketball family in which three sisters also played Division I basketball – Courtney (Illinois), Ashley (Iowa State) and Kelsey (Villanova). Joens earned her bachelor's degree from Oklahoma in August 2024 in planned programs and is pursuing a master's degree in adult education from Indiana.

Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator
Colsten Thompson is in his second season as assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Indiana in 2026-27. In his first season with the Hoosiers, Thompson brought in the sixth-ranked recruiting class for 2026, according to ESPN. Addy Nyemchek, ranked No. 25 in the class, became the program’s first McDonald’s All-American out of high school as was the 2026 New Jersey Gatorade Player of the Year. Three of the four players in the class were ranked in ESPN’s Top 100 – Nyemchek (No. 25), GiGi Battle (No. 29) and Ashlinn James (No. 66). Thompson joins the program after a three-year stint at Alabama where he most recently served as the Assistant Coach/Director of Player Development and Recruiting Operations. He has served in a recruiting operations role in his three years in Tuscaloosa, as the program went to three NCAA Tournaments and three 20-win seasons. He helped Alabama to sign a pair of Top 15 recruiting classes in 2023 and 2025, which both ranked 12th nationally by ESPNw. A recent WBCA 30-under-30 honoree, Thompson assisted four Crimson Tide athletes to WNBA Draft picks – including three in the 2025 draft (Sarah Ashlee Barker, Zaay Green and Aalyiah Nye). The Hartselle, Ala. native spent time at Lipscomb (assistant coach), Louisiana Tech (graduate assistant) and Alabama-Huntsville (student assistant), where he completed his bachelor’s degree in sports fitness and management in 2020. Dan Dardarian
Dan Dardarian is in his second season team & recruitment analyst for Indiana women's basketball program. Prior to his arrival in Bloomington, Dardarian was the assistant director of basketball operations for Vanderbilt men's basketball from 2023-25. He spent the 2021-23 seasons as the director of video and scouting for the SMU women's basketball program. Dardarian spent three seasons with the Michigan women's basketball program as the video coordinator. During his tenure, which included filming and analysis, the Wolverines advanced to the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 for the first time in program history. Before joining the staff in Ann Arbor, Dardarian became the first video coordinator at IMG Academy in Florida. In addition to managing a video database of more than 400 games per season, he coordinated schedules and assisted with pro days. In 2017, IMG featured a player in the boys' and girls' McDonalds' All-America Game, becoming the first school in history represented in both games. A native of Michigan, Dardarian earned his bachelor's degree in journalism from Oakland and earned a master's in sports administration from Wayne State. While at Oakland, he worked as a student assistant for the men's basketball program under long-time head coach Greg Kampe. His duties included film exchange and video breakdown, while assisting the coaching staff during the program's transition to NCAA Division I. Kennedy Calhoun
Kennedy Calhoun is in her second season as graduate manager with Indiana women's basketball in 2026-27. Calhoun played two seasons at Saint Louis (2023-25) and began her career at Longwood (2021-23). The Harrisburg, N.C. native guided the Billikens to the program's first WNIT championship in 2023-24, an NCAA Tournament appearance in 2022-23 and is a two-time A10 All-Defensive team honoree (2024, 2025). Calhoun finished seventh in the nation in 2024-25 in steals (109) and steals per game (3.21). At Longwood, she was part of a Lancers squad that won the Big South regular season title and made its first ever trip to the NCAA Tournament. She started in all 143 games of her collegiate career while finishing second all-time in SLU history with 266 steals and sixth in assists with 395. Calhoun completed her four-year career with 1,018 points, 453 rebounds, 469 assists, and 355 steals. Calhoun is a May 2025 graduate from Saint Louis with a degree in sports business and is pursuing a master's degree in public affairs at Indiana.

Team & Recruitment Coordinator/Assistant Coach
Keyanna Warthen is in her third season on staff with Indiana women’s basketball in 2026-27. She works with the program’s guards along with recruiting, scouting and practice preparation. With her efforts, Indiana landed its first Top 10 recruiting class in school history according to ESPN. It features McDonald’s All-A erican Addy Nyemchek and Top 100 players in GiGi Battle and Ashlinn James. In her first year back in Bloomington, Warthen helped guide the Hoosiers to a 20-13 overall record and NCAA Tournament second round appearance in 2024-25. Warthen returns to Bloomington after spending a year at Miami (OH) as an assistant coach under former IU associate head coach Glenn Box. In her four seasons at Indiana, Warthen played in 116 career games and finished her career at the time as the all-time winningest player in school history where she collected 89 wins. The Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. native was part of three postseason appearances including two NCAA Tournament runs and a WNIT Championship. She was a member of the squad in 2021 when the Hoosiers advanced to its first ever Elite Eight. Warthen finished her playing career at Southern Methodist University for the 2021-22 campaign. In her season with the RedHawks, Warthen helped secure one of the best defenses in the MAC, holding opponents to 60.4 points (third in MAC) and allowing a MAC low 38.1% field goal percentage to the opposition. Kylie Durkee
Kylie Durkee is in her second season as Director of Athletic Performance with Indiana Women's Basketball. Durkee holds various certifications including SCCC, CSCS, USAW, FMS, RPR, CISSN and arrived in Bloomington after a two-year stint (2022-24) at the University of Houston where she was the Director of Sports Performance for the women's basketball and volleyball teams. Durkee's women's basketball team finished league play with a 10-5 record and made it to the American Athletic Conference Championship game for the first time in program history. Prior to Houston, Durkee served as the Strength and Conditioning Coach at Mercer for the women's basketball and soccer teams. While with the Bears, she oversaw the year-round comprehensive strength and conditioning programs while also executing nutritional strategies. The Green Bay, Wisconsin, native also oversaw graduate assistants and contributed to internship curriculum and implementation. Before her time at Mercer, Durkee spent time at the University of North Florida where she served as an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Softball, Men's Soccer, Track & Field & Women's Golf programs, designing and implementing year-round comprehensive training programs. Lauren Fields
Lauren Fields spent two seasons as graduate manager with the program from 2024-26. Fields played five collegiate seasons and spent her final year of eligibility at West Virginia in 2023-24, where she started in all 33 games for the Mountaineers and scored 302 points, 99 rebounds and 77 steals in her lone season. She was a three-year letter winner from Oklahoma State where she played in 83 games for the Cowgirls, making 66 starts. As a junior at OSU, she earned Second Team All-Big 12 accolades, with a team-high 15.4 points per game. She also spent one year at Arizona, where she earned 30 starts and appeared in all 32 games (2022-23). In the classroom, she was a two-time Academic All-Big 12 first team honoree. At Indiana, Fields is pursuing a master's degree in public & environmental affairs.

Director of Scouting and Analytics/Assistant Coach
Paul Miller is in his third season as Assistant Coach/Director of Scouting & Analytics in 2026-27. He leads IU’s defensive strategy while also focusing on player development. In 2025-26, he guided Shay Ciezki to All-Big Ten honors and a USBWA All-American honorable mention nod while shooting 50/40/90 and averaging 22.8 points per game, just the second ever Division I player to post the coveted averages and score 20-plus points per game. Ciezki improved her scoring by +11.4 points per game in one season and a total of 708 points as a senior, which put her third all-time in a single season in school history. Miller joined the Hoosiers after two seasons (2023 and 2024) as an assistant coach with the WNBA’s Indiana Fever. In his role, he worked primarily with Indiana’s post players and the team’s offense. The organization ranked third in offense in 2024 and finished with a 20-20 record, making its first playoff for the first time since 2016. Prior to the Fever, Miller served as an assistant coach with the Windy City Bulls in the NBA G League during the 2022-23 season. Prior to his assistant coach role with Windy City, Miller was the assistant to the head coach in Chicago from 2019-22 before moving over to Windy City’s coaching staff. Payton Bernhardt
Payton Bernhardt joined the Indiana Women's Basketball program as a teammate in the 2021-22 season. The Evansville, Ind. native is a part of Team IMPACT, a national organization that matches children facing serious and chronic illness by matching them with a college athletic team. She was diagnosed with Juvenile Dermatomyositis – a rare autoimmune disease in March 2021. Payton has become an integral part of the program – giving encouragement, hugs and high-fives. When she's not with the Hoosiers, Payton's favorite activities include reading, making bracelets, playing Minecraft, watching HGTV and cheering on the Hoosiers. She is the daughter of Bobbie and Matt Bernhardt and has a brother, Pierce, and sister, Paige.

Associate Head Coach
Rhet Wierzba is in his 13th season and sixth as associate head coach for Indiana in 2026-27. He has been with head coach Teri Moren during her entire tenure at Indiana, as the Hoosiers have won 20 more games in 10 of those seasons and made nine postseason berths including seven NCAA Tournament appearances. In those NCAA appearances, the Hoosiers have been to the second round all seven times including three Sweet Sixteens and advanced to the Elite Eight in 2020-21. Off the court, Wierzba was honored for his courage and dedication to women’s college basketball as the USBWA’s 2026 Pat Summitt Most Courageous Award winner. He leads the development of Indiana’s post players who have earned 11 All-Big Ten honors in his tenure. Most notably, he has helped developed Mackenzie Holmes into one of the nation’s best players. Holmes finished her IU career as an eight-time All-American including the program’s first-ever first team All-American by WBCA, USWBA and Associated Press. The Gorham, Maine native became the program’s first Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year in 2023-24 and finished her career as a four-time All-Big Ten honoree. She completed her five-year career as the team’s all-time leading scorer and finished in the Top 5 in 11 different categories in the Indiana history books, including program records for field goal percentage and all-time wins.
