Head Coach
The winningest NCAA Division I men’s soccer coach of his era, Todd Yeagley carries on the legacy of his father, Jerry Yeagley – the winningest coach of all-time. Yeagley was named Indiana head men’s soccer coach on December 18, 2009. Since then, no NCAA Division I men’s soccer head coach has more wins (216) or College Cup appearances (5) than the Hoosier head coach. Born in Bloomington during the program’s early years, Yeagley saw Indiana men’s soccer grow into college soccer’s premier program, earned All-American as a Hoosier student-athlete, served on his father’s coaching staff and became head coach ahead of the 2010 season. In 2026, Yeagley begins his 17th season at the helm of the Hoosier program. Yeagley is a four-time Big Ten Coach of the Year, has led the region staff of the year three times and in 2012 was named the Soccer America Coach of the Year after leading the program to its eighth national championship. Yeagley’s 11 Big Ten Championships (regular season and tournament combined) ranks No. 1 among active conference and No. 2 all-time only to his father (21). On four occasions, Yeagley has led the Hoosiers to the Big Ten Championship Double, winning the regular season and tournament titles in the same year: three consecutive seasons from 2018-20 and again in 2023. Yeagley’s program has produced an All-American in each of the last 12 seasons – the nation's longest active streak – as well as 15 of his 16 seasons as IU head coach. During the 12-year run, 14 differen
Assistant Coach
A former Indiana men’s soccer student-athlete, Christian Lomeli enters his eighth season as an assistant coach for the Indiana men’s soccer program in 2025 and seventh season as a member of the full-time staff. Lomeli primarily works with the team's goalkeepers. Over seven seasons, Lomeli has helped lead the Hoosiers to three NCAA College Cup appearances (2018, 2020, 2022), five Big Ten regular season championships (2018, 2019, 2020-21, 2023, 2024) and four Big Ten Tournament titles (2018, 2019, 2020-21, 2023). Indiana owns a 102-28-24 record (.740) with Lomeli on staff, and the Hoosiers have reached the NCAA Tournament Round of 16 each season. In six of the seven seasons that Lomeli has guided the IU goalkeeper union, Indiana has ranked top 11 nationally in shutouts. IU finished tied for first with 13 clean sheets in 2021 and second with 10 shutouts in the 2020-21 season (16 matches). Under Lomeli’s guidance, Roman Celentano became the first player ever to win Big Ten Goalkeeper of the Year twice, doing so in the 2020-21 and 2021 seasons. Following the 2021 campaign, FC Cincinnati selected Celentano with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2022 MLS SuperDraft. Celentano became the third keeper ever drafted No. 2 or higher, joining Andre Blake and Brad Guzan. At IU, Celentano was a two-time All-American with a 37-10-5 record while allowing just 33 goals in 52 matches. Celentano has gone on to great success in Major League Soccer with FC Cincinnati, becoming only the second keeper i

Assistant Coach
A national champion at Indiana in 2012, Jacob Bushue joined head coach Todd Yeagley’s staff as an assistant coach in 2025. “Having lived the Indiana soccer experience as a player, Jacob understands the expectations and pride that come with serving this program,” IU head coach Todd Yeagley said. “Jacob is one of the most competitive players I have had the pleasure to coach, and that played a role in helping us capture our eighth NCAA title in 2012. “Jacob’s love and passion for the game have helped him become an excellent young coach. His coaching journey has been shaped by his professional experiences in Europe and the United States. I am confident Jacob will have a significant impact on the development of our players and help sustain our program’s proud Tradition of Excellence.” Bushue returns to Bloomington after two seasons on John Michael Hayden’s staff at Louisville. During his time at Louisville, Bushue worked with the coaching staff to recruit athletes, scout opposing teams, plan training sessions and execute the activation phase of training. Prior to Louisville, Bushue enjoyed a nine-year professional career. Out of college, Bushue spent two seasons with Saint Louis FC in the USL Championship from 2015-16. Bushue then played in Finland from 2017-22 between four clubs – BK-46, Ekenäs IF, FC Haka and Jaro. He returned stateside and to the USL Championship in 2023 for one season with the Las Vegas Lights.
