Easton Dally enters his first season (2026) on the Virginia Tech baseball staff, having been hired into the role of general manager, director of baseball operations in July 2025. He joined the Hokies following six seasons of graduate and undergraduate support work within the East Carolina baseball program. Dally was praised by Virginia Tech head coach John Szefc for his extensive operative experience coming from East Carolina under the Pirates' head coach, Cliff Godwin. After earning his bachelor’s degree from East Carolina in 2023, Dally remained with the baseball program as a graduate assistant manager, tending to a wider array of the Pirates’ logistical demands during the 2024 and 2025 seasons. Among his daily administrative tasks, Dally assisted with the coordination of East Carolina’s equipment and travel while developing functional itineraries for coaches and student-athletes to follow. Additionally, he played a fundamental role in the annual organizing of the Pirates’ preseason baseball banquet, providing key assistance and contributing oversight that led to fundraising success.
