She was a part-time assistant coach during Poole's first season and coached the Carolina Aftershock 16-under team since 2018, running clinics and camps while giving private hitting and fielding lessons. Under her guidance, the 2025 squad was ranked in the region for multiple weeks and achieved the second-most PBC wins in school history with four all-conference performers. In 2024, the team set a school record with 51 home runs, the third consecutive season shattering the record, and six student-athletes earned all-PBC recognition. The 2023 team set a school record with 42 home runs. In 2022, Dorgan helped increase wins by 23 games to 29-22, making the PBC Tournament for the first time since 2016, and the team set a school record with 41 home runs. Prior to USC Aiken, she was an assistant instructor for Elite 80 LLC. Dorgan earned her degree in interdisciplinary studies with an emphasis in psychology and criminal justice from USC Upstate, where she was a standout student-athlete, and holds a minor in coaching. She is the sister of fellow Pacer standout Lyndie Dorgan.
