Tim Duffie

Biography

Tim Duffie comes to Memphis after spending the past 13 seasons as the safeties, cornerbacks and most recently the defensive passing game coordinator at Oklahoma State. Tim Duffie joined the Oklahoma State staff in March of 2013 and coaches the Cowboy cornerbacks. He coached the safeties from 2013-14. He was elevated to Defensive Passing Game Coordinator in 2023 while retaining his coaching duties at cornerbacks. Six of his 11 years in Stillwater have resulted in 10-win seasons. In 2023, Duffie’s group helped OSU rank No. 2 in the FBS with a defensive fourth down conversion rate of just 24%. Korie Black allowed only 16 receptions to rank No. 3 among FBS cornerbacks with at least 350 coverage snaps. Duffie’s 2022 cornerbacks helped OSU finish the season ranked among the top three Big 12 teams in pass efficiency defense and among the top three FBS teams in third down defense. In 2021, both of OSU’s starting cornerbackers earned All-Big 12 honors from the league’s head coaches as Jarrick Bernard-Converse was on the first team and Christian Holmes was on the second team. It was just the second time ever and the first time since 1997 that both of OSU’s starting cornerbacks were on the coaches’ all-conference team. As a team, the Cowboys wrapped up the year ranked No. 1 in the Big 12 in passing efficiency defense. Duffie coached Rodarius Williams to second-team All-Big 12 honors in 2020 as he set the OSU school record for consecutive starts at 48 games. Pro Football Focus graded him
