University of Louisville lacrosse coach Scott Teeter announced that Dennis Truman was named an assistant coach and director of operations in January 2026. A retired U.S. Army Sergeant First Class, accomplished entrepreneur, and lifelong teacher of leadership, Truman joined the Cardinals program in 2025 after first working around the team in 2024 as an ACC/ESPN color commentator. Truman officially joined the Louisville staff in the 2024-25 season as a program volunteer, providing on-field assistance during practices and games while leading the team’s leadership and character development initiatives. His coaching philosophy, rooted in accountability, preparation, and mental toughness, reflects the same core principles that defined his decorated 20-year military career. Before joining the Cardinals, Truman served as a head coach for Sacred Heart Academy from 2017-25, establishing the program as one of the premier high school teams in Kentucky while becoming the winningest coach in the program’s history. Under his leadership, Sacred Heart captured multiple state championships, advanced to the title game nearly every season, and won the regional championship each year he coached. His commitment to player growth and culture produced remarkable individual success as well, including 15 First-Team All-State selections, 18 Second-Team All-State honorees, seven USA Lacrosse All-Americans, and players recognized as the state’s Midfielder of the Year, Attack Player of the Year, and Goalie

Lindsey Cash is a Mental Performance Specialist at University of Louisville Athletics, where she began in October 2022. She develops and implements mental training programming for teams, coaches, and athletic support staff members to ensure holistic care and coordinated performance support to student-athletes. Cash founded PEAK Sport & Performance Consulting in 2018, a private practice serving as an advocate for mental health and helping individuals and teams refine their mental game. She previously worked as a Mental Skills Coach at the University of Denver's CPEX program from 2016 to 2018. Cash holds a Master of Arts in Sport & Performance Psychology from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Communication Studies from Western Kentucky University. She is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC). Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, Cash lives with her husband John and their labradoodle, Franklin.

Riley Ewing joined the University of Louisville lacrosse program as an assistant coach in August 2025. She came to Louisville after serving as an assistant coach at George Mason for the 2024 and 2025 seasons. In her first year on staff, the Patriots opened the 2024 season with a 6-0 record for the first time in program history as they went on to post 10 wins and earn a spot in the Atlantic 10 quarterfinals for the first time since 2019. George Mason finished the 2024 campaign ranked No. 27 nationally in draw control percentage. The 2025 campaign saw new school records established for individual single season and career draw controls. Ewing brings an impressive playing resume to Louisville, most recently helping Team USA win gold at the inaugural Women's Box Lacrosse Championship in 2024. In the tournament, scored seven goals, including the tying goal in the championship game against Canada and registered five assists in the tournament. Collegiately, she played for The Ohio State University from 2018-22. During her time there, she was a three-year starter and a three-time Big Ten Academic Honor Roll honoree. An attacker who also specialized in the draw control, Ewing finished her career ranked seventh all-time in Buckeye history with 119 draw control wins. She also sits at fifth all-time for draw controls in a single season with 71 in 2019, and is ranked among the Buckeyes' top 10 with a career-high 10 draw controls in a single game. The Marietta, Ga., native was inducted into
