Hayden became the fifth head coach in the history of the UofL men’s soccer program, which completed its 40th season in 2018. In seven seasons at the helm, he has compiled a 57-49-19 record and a 20-31-10 mark in ACC play, earning four NCAA Tournament berths. Season Capsules 2025 - 5-7-5 (1-5-2 ACC) This season saw the Cardinals appear in their 12th all-time ACC Championship. Goalkeeper Alex Svetanoff was named to the United Soccer Coaches Men’s All-Region Third Team, after being in goal for every minute of the season recording seven shutouts and 53 saves.
