During her four years in Raleigh, the Wolfpack claimed three combined ACC regular season and tournament championships. In 2023, Morris helped the Wolfpack reach the Final Four for the first time in 25 years. In her first season in Raleigh, the Wolfpack won the regular season and tournament championship in the same year for the first time since 1984-85. Morris played a part in the development of guards Aziaha James, Saniya Rivers, Diamond Johnson and Zoe Brooks. Both Johnson and Rivers earned ACC Sixth Player of the Year awards during their careers. Rivers and James earned First Team All-ACC honors in 2023-24 while James earned a number of honorable mention All-American honors in 2024-25. The duo of Rivers and James were both selected in the first round of the 2025 WNBA Draft. Before going to NC State, she spent the 2020-21 season with East Carolina. Prior to her time at ECU, Morris was on the staff at UNCW for three seasons. She helped UNCW win 13 home games in 2018-19, which marked the most for the Seahawks since moving to Division I. Under Morris' tutelage, UNCW's Shrita Parker was named the USBWA National Player of the Week in January 2019 as well as being named Second-Team All-CAA following the 2018-19 campaign. Head coach Jeff Walz hired five-year letterwinner Cortnee Walton to his staff as the Director of Player Development and Alumni Relations in August 2022. She returns to Louisville after spending the last three seasons working in recruiting operations with the Georgia Tech Women's Basketball program. Prior to her time at Georgia Tech, Walton was a sideline reporter for the ACC Network Extra and covered women's basketball, men's and women's soccer for the Cardinals. She was also a guest radio host on 790 KRD in Louisville as she provided analysis on current sports topics. During her playing career with the Cardinals, she played in 139 games at Louisville and graduated with a bachelor of arts in communications in 2015 and a master of science in sport administration in 2017. In her freshman season, the team reached the national championship game for the first time in program history. The Cardinals reached the Sweet Sixteen or farther in four of her five seasons. In the 2015-16 season, Walton started all 34 games for the Cardinals and was named to the 2015 Allstate WBCA Good Works Team. She was one of five student-athletes selected out of 103 nominees for outstanding contributions in the areas of volunteerism and civic involvement.
