Kristin Walker

Biography

Kristin Walker enters her first season as the associate head coach for the women’s swimming and diving program in 2025-26. Walker served as Associate Head Coach and Women's Recruiting Coordinator for the University of Wyoming Swimming & Diving program for the last six seasons. During her time at Wyoming, Walker recruited and coached 11 Mountain West and WAC Conference champions across both men's and women's programs, including standouts Tara Joyce and Maisyn Klimczak. She also coached and recruited numerous school record holders as well as Olympic Trials qualifier Carly Palmer and 2025 NCAA qualifier Macey Hansen, who become the program's first NCAA swim qualifier since 2016, competing in the 500 and 1650 freestyle events. In recognition of her impact and leadership in the sport, she was recently named one of the American Swimming Coaches Association's (ASCA) 30 Under 30 Award recipients in June 2025.
