One of the most decorated swimmers in Florida history, Anthony Nesty enters his eighth season as the men’s swimming & diving head coach and 28th as a member of the Gators’ coaching staff in 2025-26. The 25-26 campaign also marks the fifth season in which Anthony Nesty serves at the helm of the women’s swimming & diving program. Nesty’s Coaching Career at Florida: In the seven NCAA Championships coached under Nesty, Florida has finished in the top 10 all seven times and was the only program in the nation to have both teams place third at the 2024 NCAA Championships. No other swimming and diving program in the country had both teams finish in the top five. Since assuming the role of men’s head coach in 2018, the Gators have secured a fourth-place or better finish five times, earning third-place finishes in 2021, 2022 and 2024, fourth in 2025 and sixth in 2019 and 2023. In his first NCAA Championships as the women’s head coach in 2022, Florida finished 13th, marking the program’s highest finish since the 2014-15 season. Since then, the Gators have recorded three straight NCAA top-10 finishes: ninth in 2023, third in 2024 and sixth in 2025. It marked the first time since 2013–15 the women earned three consecutive top-10 finishes, while the third-place showing in 2024 was their best finish since 2010. Bryan Gillooly enters his ninth season as the diving coach at the University of Florida in 2025-26. Gillooly has coached nine All-American divers who have earned 15 honors, while nine have earned 11 All-SEC Postseason honors. Gillooly’s Coaching Career: At Florida: Under Gillooly’s guidance, Florida diving’s 2024-25 season featured five NCAA qualifiers, four SEC medalists, two program records, and three All-SEC honorees. At the NCAA Championships, five divers represented Florida across 11 events. Sophomore Camyla Monroy and freshman Jesus Gonzalez qualified in all three events, while junior Peyton Donald and sophomore Conor Gesing advanced in both springboard events. Junior Casey Greenberg secured her first NCAA Championships berth on platform. Gesing earned his first career All-America honor, collecting second-team recognition after placing 14th in the one-meter consolation final. At the SEC Championships, Gator diving accounted for four medals and 10 top-16 finishes, contributing 250 total points to the combined team scores. Monroy was named SEC Women’s Diver of the Meet after capturing gold on the one-meter and advancing to the A finals in both the three-meter and platform events. On the men’s side, Gesing claimed the SEC title on one-meter with a program-record score of 412.75 and added a silver medal on three-meter. Kristin Walker enters her first season as the associate head coach for the women’s swimming and diving program in 2025-26. Walker served as Associate Head Coach and Women's Recruiting Coordinator for the University of Wyoming Swimming & Diving program for the last six seasons. During her time at Wyoming, Walker recruited and coached 11 Mountain West and WAC Conference champions across both men's and women's programs, including standouts Tara Joyce and Maisyn Klimczak. She also coached and recruited numerous school record holders as well as Olympic Trials qualifier Carly Palmer and 2025 NCAA qualifier Macey Hansen, who become the program's first NCAA swim qualifier since 2016, competing in the 500 and 1650 freestyle events. In recognition of her impact and leadership in the sport, she was recently named one of the American Swimming Coaches Association's (ASCA) 30 Under 30 Award recipients in June 2025.
