Prior to arriving in Newark, Squires served as the aquatics manager at The Bridge Indoor Sports Complex in Bridgeport, West Virginia. As the aquatics manager she oversaw the daily operations of a new, 10-lane 25-yard competition pool, 4-lane, 25-yard warm-up pool and outdoor recreational pool. Peri Farling will enter her first season serving as an assistant coach for men's and women's swimming in 2025-26 as the team transitions into the Atlantic Sun Conference. “I am very excited to welcome Peri to our Blue Hen family,” head coach Pablo Marmolejo said. “She will help us to enhance the Blue Hen experience for our student-athletes and future Blue Hens. I can’t wait to get started.” In her lone season with the Red Devils, the men’s team finished with an 8-2 record in dual meets, while the women’s squad competed to a 7-4 mark. The two teams wrapped up the head-to-head season with five and six consecutive wins, respectively. As the two units battled for a Centennial Conference Championship, they both finished fourth. Each squad earned their best conference finish since 2020.
