Head Coach
Martin Ingelsby enters his tenth season as the University of Delaware’s men’s basketball head coach in 2025-26. During the summer of 2022, Ingelsby signed an extension that will keep him in Newark through the 2028-29 season. This was his second extension since signing his original contract in 2016. Ingelsby and co. returned Delaware basketball to a place it has only been six times in program history with the CAA Championship title and NCAA Tournament First Round appearance in 2022. It marked the Blue Hens’ first conference crown since the 2014 season. In his time in Newark, Ingelsby and his staff have recruited and coached 17 Blue Hens to the pros, including Delaware’s first-ever NBA player, Nate Darling. Also under his leadership, the Blue Hens have garnered five conference Rookie/Freshman of the Year awards, 26 All-Conference honors, and six All-District nods. In the program's first season in Conference USA, Ingelsby produced the CUSA 2025-26 Freshman of the Year in Christian Bliss, marking his fifth Rookie/Freshman of the Year in his nine eligible seasons. In the 2024-25 season, Ingelsby led the Hens to the conference championship game, while becoming the first team in CAA history to win four games in the conference tournament. UD was also the lowest seed to advance to the quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals in tournament history. Delaware became only the second double-digit seed to reach the semis, joining the 2002 Hofstra Pride. Inglesby left the conference tied for th

Assistant Coach
Antoni Wyche, who most recently served as an assistant coach at Northern Illinois, enters his second season with the Blue Hens in 2026-27 after joining the coaching staff in August of 2025. Wyche, who is a Notre Dame alumnus, played with Ingelsby for two years for the Fighting Irish. “We’re thrilled to welcome Antoni Wyche to our coaching staff,” Ingelsby said. “He’s a tremendous addition and an exciting hire for our program. Antoni is a veteran coach with a wealth of experience, has a strong reputation as a national recruiter, and has a proven track record in player development. His ability to connect with our student-athletes and help them grow on and off the court will be a huge asset to our team.” Prior to spending last season at Northern Illinois, Wyche coached at Siena University. The 2023-24 season marked Wyche's second stint at Siena, as he previously worked with the Saints from 2019-21. During his first stint at Siena, the program won a pair of Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) regular season crowns along with the MAAC Tournament title in 2020. Wyche served as Siena's defensive coordinator and helped mentor back-to-back MAAC Player of the Year honorees. "I am excited to join the Blue Hen family as I have followed Coach Inglesby and the program's success over the recent years,” Wyche said. “I love the new additions they've added this spring and look forward to making an immediate impact this season as we enter CUSA.” In his first season at Siena in 2019-20, he
