Assistant Athletic Trainer (VB/WGLF)
Aimee Miyazawa joined the Colorado Athletic Department in July 2023 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. In her role, she serves as the athletic trainer for the women's volleyball and women's golf programs, overseeing the evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries while supporting and managing all aspects of healthcare for both teams. Prior to arriving at Colorado, Miyazawa worked with the UCHealth Limb Restoration Team alongside Dr. Jason Stoneback from 2020-23. She also spent time as an independent contractor and freelance athletic trainer from 2018-19 following a four-year stint as the Head Athletic Trainer for USA Beach Volleyball from 2015-18. During her time with USA Beach Volleyball, Miyazawa served as the head athletic trainer for the United States at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, where the beach volleyball pair of Kerri Walsh Jennings and April Ross earned a bronze medal. She also assisted the USA Women's Indoor National Team during two weeks of Volleyball Nations League competition in 2018, helping the squad capture a gold medal. Earlier in her career, she worked the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico, supporting both the men's and women's USA indoor national teams, with the women earning bronze. Miyazawa previously spent a decade at the University of Kansas from 2005-15 as the assistant athletic trainer for the women's volleyball program. Director of Operations/Olympic Sports
Quinn Roche joined the Buffs in March 2025, filling the role of Director of Olympic Sports Operations. In her role, Roche oversees operations and administrative tasks for volleyball, tennis, and men's and women's golf and assists with post-season event management. Before arriving at CU, she served as the Director of Volleyball Operations at Kansas State Athletics from March 2023 to March 2025. Prior to K-State, Roche was a graduate assistant at the University of Washington Athletic Department, where she served as an Operations GA for indoor and beach volleyball from August 2022 to March 2023. She earned both her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and a Master of Education from Washington. During her time at Washington, Roche received the IAL Faculty Merit Award while working towards her MEd. She also received the Esthel "Sandy" W. Ames and Mary E. Howard Ames Education Award. Additionally during college, Roche spent one summer as an event operations intern for Houston Sports Authority. She also spent time as a marketing and fan outreach intern in the Washington Athletic Department before working in operations. Born on July 9 in Louisville, Colo., she graduated from Belchertown High School in 2018. Although born in Colorado, Roche is a native of Pullman, Wash., and Belchertown, Mass., having grown up primarily in those two cities. She played volleyball, soccer, basketball, and lacrosse during her youth, and continued playing volleyball at the club level in college. Sh
