He added the title of defensive run game coordinator ahead of the 2026 season. In his second season, Troy’s primary interior defensive linemen combined for 29 tackles for loss and 12 sacks, led by All-Sun Belt selection Luis Medina. Additionally, Medina and Taleeq Robbins both found the end zone for the Trojans, as Troy ranked third nationally with five defensive touchdowns on the season. Troy also ranked 26th in red zone defense (77.8 percent), 22nd in sacks (2.64), and 33rd in tackles for loss (6.2) as the Trojans won the Sun Belt West Division title and played in the IS4S Salute to Veterans Bowl.
