Martino also developed Smithtown, N.Y., native Dennis Lestrange into a three-year starter and captain, as well as 2017 All-American and 2018 Pre Season first team All-American Cal Daniels. Under his coaching, the Seawolves' offense averaged 28.5 points per game in 2017 on their way to 10 wins and a FCS Playoff appearance, with back-to-back FCS Playoff appearances in 2017 and 2018.
