Kaity Healy

Biography

Kaity Healy was named an assistant coach in July 2024. Healy brings five years of coaching experience with her to Queens following a four-year playing career at Seton Hall from 2015-19. The Freehold, N.J., native most recently served as an assistant coach at American University for the past two seasons. In her role, Healy helped with recruiting efforts, developed perimeter players and worked as the liaison for academics and compliance on behalf of the program. Under her direction, the Eagles had 10 players named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll in 2023-24. Prior to arriving in the nation’s capital, Healy worked as an assistant coach for FDU during the 2021-22 season in which she helped lead the Knights to a Northeast Conference (NEC) regular season title and a berth in the WNIT. Following the Knights’ remarkable season they were honored with the NEC Coaching Staff of the Year award. The year prior, Healy was a member of the 2021 Conference USA Coaching Staff of the Year, while working as the Assistant Director of Basketball Operations for Florida International University (FIU). With the Panthers, Healy was responsible for all aspects of team travel and worked as the liaison for equipment, facilities, academics and compliance. During the 2019-20 season, Healy got her start on the coaching side with Holy Cross as the Director of Basketball Operations and an Assistant Coach.
