Associate Athletic Director for Business
Anthony Miccolis began at PC in February of 2007 in the office of Institutional Advancement. He joined the Friar Athletic Department in February of 2024 as the Associate Athletic Director for Business. In this role Anthony serves as a member of the executive and senior leadership teams and is responsible for the overall management and strategic leadership of all aspects of the Athletic Department business and finance office, including oversight of financial planning and analysis. Miccolis ensures that all business office activities comply with NCAA rules, regulations, and reporting requirements. He aids in the negotiation of department contracts, as well as collaborates on the reporting and evaluation of all revenue-generating activities to maximize existing and new opportunities. Prior to joining Providence College, Miccolis worked for over 10 years in the United State Congress, serving on the staffs of U.S. Representative Joel Hefley (CO), U.S. Senator John H. Chafee (R.I.), and U.S. Senator Lincoln D. Chafee (R.I.). He is also a former member of the North Kingstown Town Council, having served for six years in elected office, including two years as Council President. Graduate Assistant / High Performance (Tennis)
Russell Bonacchi started as a Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning coach in August of 2024. In his role, Bonacchi is responsible for the creation and implementation of programming for women's swim and dive, women's tennis and cheerleading. He also assists with coaching Men's and Women's: basketball, ice hockey, lacrosse, soccer, track & field, volleyball, softball, cross country, field hockey and golf. Prior to Providence College, Bonacchi served as an intern Strength and Conditioning coach at Syracuse University in the spring of 2024. At Syracuse he coached football, lacrosse, soccer and field hockey. Bonacchi also interned in the fall of 2023 at SUNY Brockport, having coached 23 varsity sports. Bonacchi graduated from SUNY Brockport in 2024 with a Bachelor's Degree in exercise science and a minor in biology. He is currently pursuing a Master's in sport's administration at Providence College. Bonacchi is originally from Rochester, N.Y.
