Biography

Mary Hanson is entering her third season as a volunteer assistant for the cross country and track & field teams in 2024-25. A former MU distance runner and team captain, Hanson was an All-BIG EAST Selection in the 4x800 with a third-place finish at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships in 2019. She left the program with top-10 marks in the 3,000 meters, 4x800, 4x1600 and DMR. Originally from Dodgeville, Wis., Hanson graduated from Marquette in 2020 with a degree in psychology.
