Assistant Coach - Jumps and Multis
Adam Meyer completed his second season with the Golden Eagles in 2024-25. He works with the jumpers and multis student-athletes. In 2024-25, Annika Bynum tied the program record in the outdoor high jump, clearing 1.80m, and qualified for the NCAA West First Round. Bynum earned silver at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships, clearing 1.70m. Russell Czerwinski recorded the seventh-best high jump in program history, clearing 2.05m at the Brutus Hamilton Invite on April 5, 2025. John Pitta recorded the ninth-best indoor triple jump in program history, jumping 14.07m at the Panther Tune-Up on Feb. 22, 2025. In 2023-24, Kaylee Hopp had the third-best indoor triple jump in program history at 12.25m at the Panther Tune-Up on Feb. 17, 2024. Hopp had the fourth-best outdoor triple jump at 12.05m at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships. Natalia Jackowski earned bronze and recorded the seventh-best high jump in program history, clearing 1.73m at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships. Haneefa Adam had the seventh-best triple jump in program history at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships. Meyer joined Marquette after serving as a coach for Kentucky Elite Athletics working with pole vaulters. One of his athletes placed fifth in the pole vault at the 2021 Women’s AA Kentucky State Meet and another win the 2021 Women’s AAA Kentucky State Meet. Assistant Director for Academic Services (WSOC, M/W T&F/CC)
Maureen Lewis is in her 23rd year at Marquette University as an Assistant Director for Academic Services in 2025-26. In her role, Lewis is the student programs coordinator where she develops and transitions student-athletes to college academics, athletics and lifestyle. She leads workshops in the areas of leadership, diversity, time management, academic success, and transition to workplace. Lewis is a representative on the University Staff Senate. She also teaches in the College of Education. Lewis serves as the facilitator for SHAPE (Student Health Allies & Peer Educators), the peer-support mental-health group, and the coordinator for Marquette's chapter of Chi Alpha Sigma, the honor society for college athletes. Prior to MU, Maureen worked in advertising and marketing. Lewis earned a bachelor's degree in journalism and advertising. She has also earned her master's degree in counseling.

Assistant Director of Sports Performance (MLAX, T&F)
Patrick Gifford currently serves as Assistant Director of Sports Performance at Marquette University. In his role, he works with the men's lacrosse and men's and women's track and field specifically with the sprinters, jumpers, throwers and multi's. Gifford arrived at Marquette after spending the past few years in the private sector as owner of ECT Strength & Performance. During this time, he also worked with the men's soccer program at Wisconsin Lutheran College and assisted at Franklin High School the Croatian Eagles Soccer Club with strength and speed work. Prior to ECT, Gifford served as Associate Director of Strength and Conditioning at Florida International University where he directly oversaw baseball and softball while assisting with football. Gifford also spent four years at Hillsdale College as the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach directly overseeing the training for the college's 14 teams. Prior to Hillsdale Gifford had stops at Liberty University, the Miami Marlins, Mississippi State University and Michigan State University. Gifford graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor's in Kinesiology in 2009.
