Head Coach
Hunnell became the fifth head coah of the High Point University women's golf program in June of 2022. Before the 2026 spring season, Hunnell inked a three-year extension. Since being hired in 2022, Hunnell has taken the HPU Women's Golf program to new heights. She's a two-time Big South Conference Coach of the Year and has coached three Big South Golfer of the Year honorees, one Big South Newcomer of the Year, two Freshman of the Year winners, 12 Big South All-Conference golfers, while 20 student-athletes have been named Big South Freshman of the Week, 18 have earned Big South Golfer of the Week and 13 garnered a WCGA All-American Scholar accolade. Hunnell has led the Panthers to nine tournament wins, including the most in a single-season in 2024-25 with five wins and the most career wins for a head coach, while mentoring six individual medalist, two Big South medalist and a pair of NCAA Regional Individual qualifiers.
Hunnell appears to be a results-driven coach who excels at rapid program transformation and individual player development. Her ability to consistently produce conference award winners and NCAA qualifiers suggests she focuses on maximizing each player's potential while building a winning team culture that elevates the entire program.

Assistant Coach
Anna Redding, a native of Concord, N.C., played golf for the University of Virginia from 2015-19. During her time at UVA, Redding was awarded Rookie of the Year in 2016 and was twice named the Virginia Sports Information Directors Player of the Year. To cap her successful collegiate career, Redding became the third golfer in program history to be named All-ACC Academic Team for four consecutive years. After graduation, Redding developed AB Golf, Inc. as a platform to play professional golf. Redding has played full seasons on the Epson Tour in 2020 and 2021. Additionally, she played in the first ever ANWA in college and also she won the Epson Community Achievement Award while she was pro. Redding participated in a partial season in 2022 before returning for a full season in 2023. Off the course, Redding has established a Birdies for Babies fundraiser for underprivileged children and hopes to inspire young female athletes to pursue a pro-golf career.
