Chelsea Banbury was named the fifth Division I head coach of High Point University's women's basketball team in June 2019. Banbury enters her seventh season with the Panthers. In her sixth season coaching the High Point Panthers, Banbury clinched the program's third Big South Regular-Season Championship in five years, it's second Big South Title, and made its second appearance in the NCAA Tournament as they were selected to play No. 16 William & Mary in a play-in game. The Panthers finished the regular season with a 21-12 overall record, and a 13-3 record in the Big South. In December, High Point secured its first Power 5 win under Banbury as the Panthers defeated the University of Central Florida, 64-60, in Orlando. With the win in Orlando, HPU became the second team in Big South history to take down a Big 12 opponent. On January 8, Banbury earned her 100th career win as the head coach of the Panthers with a 78-51 victory over Charleston Southern in the Qubein Center.

Brendan Quinlan-Huertas

A native of Norwalk, Connecticut, he got his start with the Panthers as a manager for the men's basketball program before donning the Purple and White on the hardwood for the 2019-20 season. After graduation, Quinlan-Huertas joined the women's program as a graduate manager for the 2021-22 season.

Brittany Brown comes to High Point after spending the 2018-19 season as an assistant at Delaware State. Heading into her fifth season as assistant coach for the Panthers, Brown has helped lead the team to its third Big South regular season championship and winning the Big South Tournament for the first time. The Panthers made their first appearance in the NCAA Tournament in 2020-21 season. Prior to her time in Dover, Del., she served as the head coach at the Community College of Rhode Island from 2013-2018. While she was at the helm for the Knights, Brown captured three regional championships (2010-13), a district title (2012-13) and produced its first Women's Basketball Coaches Association All-American. She played semi-professionally for the Flint (Mich.) Monarchs before getting into her coaching career. As a player, Brown helped lead Florida Gulf Coast University an Atlantic Sun Conference Championship, two Women's National Inviation Tournament appearances

In the summer of 2024, Scheier was named Big South Woman of the Year. Scheier was also a 3x member of the Big South All Academic team. She served on SAAC all 5 years at HPU and served as SAAC President in 2024. While on campus, Scheier coached AAU and did training sessions with the Winston-Salem Stealers and was an assistant coach for the girl's team at her High School Alma Mater. Scheier graduated in 2023 with B.A. in Human Relations with a Minor Leadership and Athletic Coaching. She graduated in 2024 with her Master's in Communication and Business Leadership.

High Point University Women's Basketball Head Coach Chelsea Banbury announced the hiring of Katie Clayman, formerly Katie Gruys, as the Panthers' newest assistant coach in the summer of 2023. Clayman comes to High Point after a four-year stint at Southern Utah University, where she joined the Thunderbirds as an assistant coach in 2019 before being promoted to associate head coach in July of 2020. During her tenure, she was monumental in helping SUU reach three consecutive winning seasons for the first time since the program did in 1993-96. In 2022-23, the Thunderbirds were crowned WAC regular-season champions and earned their first-ever trip to the NCAA Tournament against No. 14 Notre Dame. Before heading to Southern Utah, Clayman spent the previous two seasons as an assistant coach at Willamette University, a Division III institution in Oregon.
