Head Coach
High Point University Vice President and Athletic Director Dan Hauser announced the hiring of John Crawley as the new men's lacrosse head coach on Friday, June 14, 2024. In Crawley's first season as a head coach in his young career, he produced one of the best seasons in the Atlantic 10 Conference for the Panthers. During the 2025 season, High Point went 7-9 overall and 3-2 in the league finishing as the A10 regular season Runner-Up for the first time since joining the A10 in 2023. He guided the No. 2 seeded Panthers to the A10 Championship game for the second time after knocking off No. 3 seed Saint Joseph's in the semifinals. Crawley took over at the helm for High Point as the second head coach since the inauguration of the men's lacrosse program in 2010. He joined the Panthers after spending the 2023 and 2024 seasons as an Assistant Coach and Offensive Coordinator/Recruiting Coordinator at Johns Hopkins University.

Assistant Coach - Defensive Coordinator
High Point University Men's Lacrosse Head Coach John Crawley has announced the hiring of Alex Ready as an Assistant Coach and Defensive Coordinator for the men's lacrosse program in late June of 2024. Ready joined the Panthers after spending the 2023 & 2024 seasons as an assistant coach with the Duke men's lacrosse staff. The Blue Devils appeared in the NCAA Tournament in both seasons, making the Championship game against Notre Dame in 2023 and the quarterfinals against Maryland in 2024. A former standout goaltender for the University of Denver, hailing from Lancaster, Pa., Ready was a four-year starter between the pipes for the Pioneers. As a rookie in 2016, Ready started all 16 games for the Pioneers, posting a 13-3 overall record and a 9.00 goals against average to lead the BIG EAST and rank 16th nationally. Assistant Coach
Posey joined the High Point men's lacrosse staff in June of 2025. He played four years of lacrosse at Penn State and graduated in 2023 and currently plays professionally in the PLL with the Carolina Chaos. While at Penn State, the native of South Riding, Virginia appeared in 42 games with 25 starts on defense. He totaled 52 ground balls with a season-high 25 ground balls during his junior season. As a defensive player, he managed to find the net on four goals during his career, scoring his first collegiate goal against The Ohio State in 2022. In 2023 he was named to the All-Big Ten Second Team and was voted to the USILA, Inside Lacrosse, and USA Lacrosse Magazine All-American Honorable Mention selections. Academically he earned three academic All-Big Ten awards and was named to the 2023 Big Ten Distinguished Scholar List. Since graduating from Penn State, Posey has been playing in the PLL with the Carolina Chaos.

Assistant Coach
The High Point University Men's Lacrosse program added Matthew Lintner to the 2025 coaching staff as announced by Head Coach John Crawley in July of 2024. Prior to HPU, Lintner spent four seasons at Roanoke College under head coach Bill Pilat's men's lacrosse staff where he previously played four years of lacrosse before graduating in 2019. After joining the Maroons in the fall of 2020 as the second assistant coach, he was elevated to the lead assistant coach and recruiting coordinator during the 2024 season. Over his four years, he ran the offensive side of the ball, being named the team's offensive coordinator in the summer of 2021. He also ran the team's extra man unit all four years, coached the faceoff unit in the 2021 season, worked with the goalies all four years, and served as the team's strength and conditioning coordinator from summer of 2021-November of 2023. During his time as a student-athlete at Roanoke, Lintner played in 66 games for head coach Bill Pilat.
Lintner believes in comprehensive player development, evidenced by his hands-on approach to coaching multiple position groups and his dedication to strength and conditioning.
