Wilson served as the senior analyst for special teams from 2022-24, working hand-in-hand with then special teams coordinator Turner West in all four phases of game planning (KO, KOR, PUNT, PBR) and was also responsible for opponent game and personnel breakdown. In 2024, punter Alex Smith finished 17th in the FBS in net punting and earned second-team all-conference honors while Gavin Stewart was one of the most accurate kickers in the country, making 83 percent of his kicks. Nine players earned all-conference honors which helped Mutz earn Football Scoop FCS Coordinator of the Year Finalist honors. Defensively in 2024, Mutz’s Lumberjacks boasted a top-20 rushing defense nationally (160.3) and a top-10 passing efficiency defense (111.66) for the league’s second-best total defense at 343.4 yards per game in just his second season. SFA forced 28 turnovers, the sixth-most in FCS, of which 17 were interceptions. After graduation in 1979, he pursued his master's degree in education while working in equipment, the athletic training office, the business office and the ticket office as well as many other areas. Inman graduated with his master's degree in 1981. A valuable and multi-talented asset to all Georgia Southern athletics programs, he worked 33 full-time years as a member of the athletics staff and now serves as a facilities consultant for athletics in a part-time role. From 1992 through 2011, Inman directly spearheaded the maintenance and daily operations of Allen E. Paulson Stadium, the home of Georgia Southern football. In addition to those duties, he also directed the upkeep and manicuring of the Eagle Football Practice Complex, oversaw the maintenance of J.I. Clements Stadium baseball facility and Eagle Field softball facility.
