Assistant Coach
Alan Fread enters his fourth season overall and second during this stint after returning to GW as an assistant coach in 2024. Fread returns to GW after a stint at Miami, coaching in the powerhouse ACC since 2018. In his time with the Hurricanes, he coached Phallon Tullis-Joyce, who now plays professionally for Manchester United. Mellissa Dagenais also turned pro after leaving Miami and Fread's coaching. The former assistant coach at GW was with the program in 2016 and 2017, when the club notched a 21-12-7 (.613) mark and reached the A-10 Tournament in both seasons. He mentored Miranda Horn in net at GW prior to her playing professionally. Before GW, Fread served on the Georgetown men's soccer staff from 2014-15, as a volunteer assistant and video coordinator for a team that reached the NCAA Elite Eight in 2014. He's also done a post at St. Francis (PA), where under his tutelage of the goalkeepers, the team finished eighth nationally in goals against per game. The State College, Pa., native has multiple United Soccer Coaches diplomas and graduated from Penn State University with a degree in psychology with a business concentration in 2009.

Assistant Coach
The 2025 season marks Gary Malebranche's second with the GW women's soccer program. Malebranche brings prep, collegiate, professional coaching and playing experience to the Revolutionaries. In his first season with the program, Malebranche assisted Head Coach Jeremy Williams and the Revolutionaries to a 4-11-3 record in 2024. The program took great strides in creating an identity and shifting the culture towards the future under the guidance of the new coaching staff. Malebranche arrived in Foggy Bottom having worked with head coach Jeremy Williams at the University of Miami as an ID camp staff member. Malebranche assisted with running drills and all-around camp operations. Throughout his professional career, Malebranche has also worked ID camps with Stanford University, and the Mountain West Conference and the Southwest Conference in the Girls Academy League. On the club scene, Malebranche served as the Director of Operations and as Girls Staff Coach with Pinecrest Premier SC. Through this role, Malebranche aided to elevate the club to acceptance in the Girls Academy League. Malebranche helped lead the team to the playoffs and capture a conference championship as well. With Albion SC Las Vegas, Malebranche held multiple positions including the club’s Director of College Placement, the Director of Video Analysis and Girls Academy Staff Head Coach. Assistant Coach
Kayley Sullivan '13 enters her second season as an assistant coach with her alma mater after joining the program prior to the 2024 season. Sullivan assisted Head Coach Jeremy Williams and the Revolutionaries to a 4-11-3 overall record in her first year, making strides towards creating an identity within the program and shifting the culture towards the future. Sullivan played four seasons at GW from 2009-12, graduating with a degree in psychology with a concentration in cognitive neuroscience and a minor in mind-brain studies. She exemplified leadership both on the field, captaining the team her senior year, and in the classroom, earning Women's Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2012-2013. Since graduating, Sullivan has built a notable career in coaching and player development. In the collegiate game, Sullivan most recently contributed to the Miami Hurricanes soccer program, arriving in Coral Gables ahead of the 2022 season. Before her time in the ACC, Sullivan served as a volunteer assistant coach at Stanford University from 2018 to 2019. Sullivan played an integral part in the Cardinal's exceptional record, including consecutive Pac-12 Championships and a National Championship in 2019. In the youth soccer landscape, Sullivan coached for Albion Las Vegas Soccer Club in Nevada, Mountain View Los Altos Club in California, and Washington Spirit Development Academy and McLean Youth Soccer in Virginia.
