Bryant is in his second season as the Florida State throwing events coach, having previously held an administrative position at the University of Texas for the preceding two years. During Bryant’s inaugural season with the Seminoles, the throws unit achieved six performances that placed them on Florida State’s all-time top 10 list. The indoor season saw Austin Kleinman, Cooper Crowell, and Zee Curtis set personal bests in the weight throw, securing their positions on the top 10 list. In the outdoor season, Maddy McGloin, Austin Kleinman, and Cooper Crowell earned top 10 all-time spots in the hammer throw. Bryant’s throwers delivered a remarkable performance at the 2025 ACC Outdoor Championships, during which Ahmari Avin, Austin Kleinman, Cooper Crowell, and Zee Curtis all recorded personal bests. Kleinman and Zee both finished in the top 10 at the ACC Championships. Prior to his appointment at Florida State and Texas, Bryant served as an Associate Athletic Director for Major Gifts and as an Assistant Track & Field Coach at Texas State University from 2016 to 2022. During Bryant’s tenure as throws coach, he coached three Sun Belt Conference Field Athletes of the Year, nine individual conference champions, and shattered four Texas State school records. In collaboration with John Frazier, Bryant played a pivotal role in Alyssa Wilson’s ascent to becoming one of the most accomplished throwers in NCAA history. Ricky Argo enters his 10th season as the men’s sprints and relays coach for the Seminoles and has been instrumental in the Noles’ recent success on the track. Argro has accumulated 71 All-Americans, 43 of those being first-team. On the conference level, Argro has racked up 26 ACC Champions as well as six ACC MVPs. In 2025, Argro led the men's sprints to a fifth place finish at the Indoor and Outdoor ACC Championship, earning three gold medals and five first team all-members to begin outdoor postseason competition. Under the guidance of Argro he led dual sport star Micahi Danzy to an amazing freshman season after he set a new program, acc and meet record in the men's 400-meters with an NCAA leading time of 44.38. Danzy time ranks the 22nd-fastest time in collegiate history and seventh-fastest time in U20 history. Neo Mosebi also continued the five year winning streak in the men's 100-meters after his winning time of 10.08. The 4x100-meter also placed first for the second consecutive year with a time of 39.05. The Seminoles went on to qualify 12 athletes to the NCAA National Championship, marking the most since the 2022 season. Argro concluded his 10th season with one first and second-team All-American. Cawley began his second season (2025-2026) overseeing the jumps and multi, joining the Seminoles after spending the last ten seasons as the Director of track and field and cross country at University of Idaho.. He brings 25 years of coaching experience. In his career he has coached 79 Conference Championships, 63 School Records, 45 NCAA Championship Qualifiers, 24 USA Championship Qualifiers and 12 All-Americans, an Olympic Bronze medalist and a World Championship Silver Medalist. During his first season with the Seminoles, Cawley boasted three top-five finishes combined from the Indoor and Outdoor ACC conference championships, including one ACC Men's MVP honor. Three Seminoles went on to compete at the NCAA Outdoor National Championships, continuing the 18-year-long streak of the jumps crew competing at the national championship. Under the guidance of Cawley, Kyvon Tatham was named the ACC Men’s Field Outdoor MVP for his efforts. Tatham won both the indoor and outdoor triple jump at the conference meet before placing third in the event at the NCAA Outdoor National Championships, marking the highest postseason finish of his career. Tatham also made his way on both the indoor and outdoor FSU all-time top 10 lists. Davis began his second season with the Seminoles overseeing the women’s sprints and hurdles, after spending the last eight seasons at New Mexico State. This past season, Davis led the women’s team to two national records, including a program, conference (42.72), and ACC meet record (43.15) with three gold medals at the conference meet with a fourth-place overall team finish. Under the guidance of Davis, Shenese Walker was named the ACC Women’s MVP. Davis led the Noles to 13 moves on the FSU all-time top 10 list. The Noles had 12 athletes at the NCAA Championship with four first-team All-Americans, marking the most since the 2022 season. In 2024, Davis led Jhana Davis to a remarkable year in the 200 meters, placing 13th at the NCAA West Regional Preliminary with a time of 22.93. Downie concluded her year competing at the JAAA Olympic Trials. Under the guidance of Davis, Aliyah Logan achieved a season best in the 100 hurdles with a time of 13.06 in the Texas Relays. Logan also ran a wind-aided time of 12.98 at the C-USA Championships. She placed fourth at the Olympic Trials. Davis helped Terice Steen capture the 400 hurdle title, clocking a time of 57.90 at the C-USA Championships, and contributed to breaking school records in the 4x100 and 4x400 relay. She also contributed to New Mexico’s State first Outdoor Western Athletic Conference title. Steen also competed at the Jamaican National Championship, placing sixth at 57.64.
