Head Coach
Marie Zidek was named the sixth head coach in DePaul volleyball history on Dec. 22, 2017 and will enter her eighth season as the leader of the program in fall of 2025. In 2024, she led the squad to their third BIG EAST Tournament qualification in four years, earning the program's first three-set victory in the league tournament against St. John's to advance to the BIG EAST semifinals. During the tournament, it was announced that a program-best four Blue Demons had earned All-BIG EAST honors - Aly Kindelberger, Audrey Klemp, Rachel Krasowski and Jill Pressly. Pressly was recognized unanimously for the third consecutive season while Krasowski became the first Blue Demon to earn the BIG EAST Libero of the Year award. The recognition for Krasowski was the first major conference award for any DePaul player since 2001. The 2024 season continued as DePaul was selected to host the National Invitational Volleyball Competition (NIVC), the first postseason volleyball to be hosted inside McGrath-Phillips Arena and second NIVC qualification in two years . While playing in the tournament, DePaul eclipsed 20 wins in a season for the first time since 2001, earning an impressive 21-14 record that included 10 home wins. Associate Head Coach
De Souza arrived in Chicago in 2022 following a three-year stint as an assistant at West Virginia where he helped the program to go to their first ever NCAA appearance. Prior to his time at West Virginia, De Souza was the head coach at Louisiana Tech. The Brazil native has been an assistant coach at Illinois State, Miami University (MAC Tournament Champion, NCAA qualifier) and a volunteer assistant at Kent State. Internationally, De Souza has mentored youth at many different levels of the game, from beginners to expertise. He served as the men's volleyball coach at the State University of Campinas winning sectional titles in back-to-back seasons. In 2001-2002 De Souza worked and studied closely with the head coach from the Brazilian Women Junior National team Antonio Rizola in developing tools for performance development. While taking undergraduate courses, De Souza served as a liaison and interpreter for the U.S. Women's National Team (1994) and Japanese National Junior Team (1993) while both were competing in the FIVB World Championships in Brazil. De Souza has spent a career in the States helping programs reach new levels of performance through his player-centered approach. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in physical education and a second in Sports Training/Coaching from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP) in São Paulo, Brazil and completed his master's degree in Sports Studies at Kent State University.

Assistant Coach
Dan Pawlikowski arrived at DePaul in January 2025, following a two-year stint as associate head coach at Michigan. In his two years at Michigan, the Wolverines improved from 7-22 to 18-13 overall, including a 12-5 mark at home in 2024. Prior to Michigan, he spent the 2022 season at UNLV as an assistant coach, helping the Rebels to a 26-5 overall and 17-1 conference record. Before UNLV, Pawlikowski spent three years in Denmark coaching professional volleyball. During the 2021-22 season, he was the head coach of the Brøndby Volleyball Club, where he led the team to a Denmark Cup National Championship title. Prior to his time with Brøndby, Pawlikowski worked with Gentofte Volley in Copenhagen, Denmark as the men’s head coach and the women’s assistant coach. He led the men’s team to two Danish League Championships with back-to-back undefeated seasons, going 42-0 from 2019-21. A product of Illinois, he served as the second-ever head men's volleyball coach in program history at Dominican University from 2017-19. He led the team to the inaugural Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Tournament title during his first season. In 2017, he aided Dominican to its second-ever NCAA Division III bid. Pawlikowski coached one AVCA All-American in Luke Spicer and an honorable mention for the All-America Team in Ethan Klosak. Jimmy Duba began his role at DePaul as Director of Sports Performance in August of 2016, before being elevated to Associate Athletics Director for Sports Performance. He currently works with softball, women's tennis, volleyball and track and field's throwers and serves as a member of the Athletics Department's senior leadership team. Duba brings experience to DePaul in working with both collegiate and professional basketball. Prior to joining the Blue Demons, Duba served as an assistant strength and conditioning coach for the NBA's Sacramento Kings (2008-10) and was the WNBA's Sacramento Monarchs head strength and conditioning coach (2008-09). Previously, Duba worked for DePaul as the assistant director of sports performance for four seasons in his first stint in Lincoln Park, finishing up in 2013. He was strength and conditioning coach of the Charlotte men's basketball team from 2013-2016. Duba spent two seasons in Storrs, Connecticut as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach at UConn where he primarily worked with the Huskies' basketball and women's volleyball programs from 2006-08. As a graduate assistant he earned his Master's degree in Exercise Science and Strength and Conditioning. He earned his undergraduate degree from UW-La Crosse in 2006 and spent time with the Chicago Bulls during the 2005-06 season as a strength and conditioning intern. Duba resides in Chicago and enjoys Olympic weight lifting in his free time.

Lindsay Martin
Lindsay Martin joined DePaul Athletics in August 2021 as Associate Athletics Director for Merchandise and Licensing. In her role, she oversees both the strategy and day-to-day operations of the University's trademark licensing program, while also having oversight of athletic equipment operations and serving as a member of the department's committee for Name, Image and Likeness (NIL). She serves as the sport administrator for volleyball, cheerleading and dance team and oversees the Screamin' Demons Pep Band and the DIBS Mascot Program. Additionally, Martin is a member of the department's senior leadership team. Martin previously served as the Director of Athletic Marketing and Licensing at Butler University. At Butler, she managed the day-to-day operations of the University's trademarks and licensing program, in addition to working with CLC and the campus bookstore. During her tenure, Butler introduced merchandise programs for historic Hinkle Fieldhouse and the Butler Blue live mascot, in addition to launching the Gallery of Memories vintage collection. Martin's responsibilities at Butler also included the development and execution of marketing and promotional plans, game operations and social media strategy. She acted as a sport administrator for the Butler Dance Team, Butler Cheerleading and volleyball, while also overseeing a team of student interns and the official student booster group, the Dawg Pound.
