Connor Wagner
Connor Wagner joined DePaul as the men's basketball creative director in January 2025. Wagner previously spent two seasons at Liberty University where he was a part of the football staff as a recruiting graphic designer. Prior to his role at Liberty, Wagner spent time on the football staffs at Coastal Carolina and Air Force where he provided graphic design and photography work. Wagner is a 2018 graduate of Concordia University Wisconsin where he earned a BA in Communications and Media Studies while earning all-conference honors as a member of the school's football program.

Hailey Lacy
Hailey Lacy, RDN, joined DePaul Athletics in August 2022 as the athletics department Registered Sports Dietitian. In her role, Lacy works with all of DePaul's sports teams to conduct individual student-athlete nutrition assessments, administer performance/medical nutrition therapy, coordinate team educations, perform supplement efficacy research and facilitate contracts with food vendors and wholesale partners. Prior to joining DePaul, Lacy worked as a Registered Sports Dietitian at IMG Academy where she taught a research-based curriculum to student-athletes and adult campers in addition to counseling and educating campers on performance-based nutrition strategies. Lacy did her internship with the University of South Florida Athletics Department where she planned and arranged meals for athletic teams and staffs in addition to counseling athletes on their nutrition goals. Lacy also administered and interpreted results of BIA testing to student-athletes while also assisting in the fuel station. Additional internships for Lacy took place at Morton Plant Hospital and Kentucky Athletics. Lacy graduated with her B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics from Eastern Kentucky University in May 2020 where she was a track & field student-athlete. She went on to earn her M.S. in Exercise Physiology and Nutrition from Florida State in 2022. She currently holds a RD credential through the Commission on Dietetics Registration and is a Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) with the State of Illinois

Director of Men's Basketball Operations
John McCausland was hired as the Director of Basketball Operations at DePaul in April 2024 and has worked alongside Coach Chris Holtmann since 2017. He directs the day-to-day operations of the program and acts as the main liaison to the athletics department and university. John earned his undergraduate degree in finance from Ohio State in 2019 after working four years as a student manager. Following graduation, McCausland spent the 2019 NFL season in Football Operations with the Cleveland Browns assisting in all aspects of day-to-day team operations. He returned to OSU as a graduate assistant for the 2020-21 season and graduated with a Masters in Sport Management in the spring 2021. John was hired as a program assistant for the Buckeye basketball team in 2021. The northeast Ohioian served as a batboy for the Cleveland Guardians from 2014-19 including working with the Chicago Cubs in the 2016 World Series and in 2019 MLB All-Star Game.

Michael Sommer
Michael Sommer joined the DePaul sports medicine department in a full-time capacity in June of 2017 where he currently serves as a Senior Athletic Trainer, primarily covering the DePaul men's basketball team. Sommer returned to DePaul following two years working as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at the University of Chicago where he provided oversight for 20 varsity sports. Previously Sommer was a graduate assistant athletic trainer at DePaul from 2013-2015 working with multiple varsity sports. Sommer completed his masters degree in 2015 from DePaul University, with a masters in educational leadership focused on administration. He completed his bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from Capital University in 2013, In Columbus OH, where he was also a four year letterwinner in Men's Basketball. He currently resides on the North Side of Chicago with his family.

Paris Parham joined the DePaul basketball staff in May 2021 as an assistant coach after spending the previous four seasons at UW-Milwaukee. He remained on head coach Chris Holtmann's staff in 2024-25, helping DePaul to an 11 win increase from the previous season. In his first season at DePaul in 2021-22, he helped the Blue Demons to a strong finish to the season that saw 15 wins. The 15 victories are the highest total for a first-year staff at DePaul since the 2002-03 season. The Blue Demons closed the regular season by winning three of their final four games that included victories over Georgetown, St. John’s and Marquette. Individually, Javon Freeman-Liberty was named second team All-BIG EAST and led the league in scoring throughout the season. The Chicago native was a three-time BIG EAST Player of the Week and picked up the conference’s Weekly Honor Roll recognition three other times. Yor Anei (49 blocked shots) and Nick Ongenda (52 blocked shots) became the first duo in program history to each record at least 40 blocked shots in a season. Parham, a Chicago native, has been in collegiate coaching for nearly two decades that includes previous stops for five seasons each at Illinois and Illinois State. Prior to his four seasons at Milwaukee, he spent five years as an assistant coach at Illinois. While a member of John Groce's Fighting Illini staff, the squad averaged 19 victories per year and made postseason appearances three times, winning nearly 100 games (95-75). Parham a
